1up preview Super Mario 3DLand
Super Mario 3D Land -- at least in the early going -- seems to be short on real innovation but big on pure, simple entertainment.

The game is loaded with detail on both a large and small scale. Complementing the re-envisioned game structure are dozens of minor details that really make the adventure shine

I may be going mad, but I don't remember who these characters are in Twilight Princess.
You guys have got to check out the new Go Vacation screens in the thread. This game is looking sweet.
Animal Crossing vibe anyone?
Well you can build your own villa floor by floor
And explore the neighbourhood in multiplayer
And look at this badassness
So much more in the thread
1) Prins Ralis the son of the Queen Zora
2) Ashei the military chick that is part of the resistance.
I remember the chick now, still not the zora.

Check this feature out.
Video game box art interpreted by children
What will their innocent little minds make of it?
"For no particular reason other than having nothing better to do, I recently decided to get my kids (two daughters, 5 and 7) to look at a bunch of random game covers and tell me what they thought each game should be called based purely on their interpretation of the box art."
Some of the other ones are hilarious.
Robio and Steel, you must do this with your kids.
Kinect self defense training. Now you can be better than Iga in a cage match.
This guy obviously doens't like going down "there"
White dude in a Chinese kung fu outfit? What is this an 80s film?
For those of you who want the Animal Crossing idea expanded Go Vacation should be a good substitute instead of the 3DS game.
There seem to be floor plans to tinker with
You build it
Then you deck it out in furniture, presumably gained from gameplay
And you get to place everything on a grid structure.
Then you go outside and have a massive open world traversal game, with all sorts of vehicles to ride, even on horseback and with tons and tons of different activities to do.
tittyfucktittyfucktittyfucktittyfucktitty.
I will so do this with my son. That's hilarious. He's in a big reading phase right now so I'm not sure he'd totally be game for it, but we'll try.
No More Heroes Android phone game announced
I'm completely and utterly looking forward to this. Got to have something new to play on the damned XP.
LA Noire dev officially closing its doors
Bye Bondi. Moral of the story, poorly run companies don't survive. Hopefully LA Noire will still continue elsewhere. The game was really only a few tweaks away from being a true classic, and I really thought a sequel would have a ton of potential to be that classic.
