"For no particular reason other than having nothing better to do, I recently decided to get my kids (two daughters, 5 and 7) to look at a bunch of random game covers and tell me what they thought each game should be called based purely on their interpretation of the box art."

Some of the other ones are hilarious.

Robio and Steel, you must do this with your kids.

For those of you who want the Animal Crossing idea expanded Go Vacation should be a good substitute instead of the 3DS game.

It looks like you build your own villa room by room. There seem to be floor plans to tinker with You build it Then you deck it out in furniture, presumably gained from gameplay And you get to place everything on a grid structure.

Then you go outside and have a massive open world traversal game, with all sorts of vehicles to ride, even on horseback and with tons and tons of different activities to do.

I will so do this with my son. That's hilarious. He's in a big reading phase right now so I'm not sure he'd totally be game for it, but we'll try.

LA Noire dev officially closing its doors

Bye Bondi. Moral of the story, poorly run companies don't survive. Hopefully LA Noire will still continue elsewhere. The game was really only a few tweaks away from being a true classic, and I really thought a sequel would have a ton of potential to be that classic.
