Yes we get to celebrate by playing Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2.
Happy birthday, Yoda!! Best wishes, man!
I can't say for sure, but I think I remember that the games in Wii Party were made by other devs, NIntendo only published it.
Happy B-Day Yoda-licious.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileThe ultimate birthday cake for Yoda

I want the mario and bowser figurine thing but I have nowhere near enough points.
I thought I was being delicate. I could have said, "no we're not getting it, now go fuck yourself." That was my first instinct after all.
I liked DQM: Joker a lot. The graphics can look a little rough, as they hadn't quite figured out cell shading on the DS just yet. If you can get past it though it's a good game. It is not like Pokemon though, so don't think that's what you're getting here. Capturing monsters requires more than a Pokeball. Breeding is also the key to getting the best monsters too. End of the day it's just a monster training game, but done with DQ monsters and that's the big appeal. $20 is a good deal for it.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY YODA!!!
So where's Nintendo's comments on the shitty USA release calendar? I thought today was the day?
Turns out the IGN guy misinterpreted the timing of any announcement. He thought it would be yesterday, then he says this week. Hell knows.
They changed the Batman box art:
Happy birthday buddy!!! Hope you enjoy your special day

Yeah Happy Bday Yoda enjoying your site !
"Thanks for being such incredible fans! Unfortunately, there continues to be no plans for NOA to release these 3 games right now."
Took them 3 days to come up with this reply?
I played through the XBL Duke Nukem Forever demo. Yeah, it's bad. Bad in a B-movie sort of way, though. It kinda looks like an upscaled Wii game. Okay, that's not really a fair comparison; there are a few Wii games that do look better! Oddly enough, I actually did enjoy the demo. Well, I got a few juvenile laughs here and there anyway. The load times, frame rate, and collision detection should have been better, but it's still playable. I'd give the demo a 6 out of 10. Don't know what I'd rate it if I had to play through all 12 hours of it, though. Heh, I might pick it up for $10 or less just for laughs.
This is just bad business by Nintendo. This was great free publicity. Not just for Xenoblade, but for Wii games as a whole. This could have been a surge for the Wii.
Now they're going to have to deal with a lot of negative PR. They're going to have to come up with more than just a 140 character "we're not doing it" to fend off all the hate that's coming. They'd need to break down the reasons for it. Otherwise they're going to see a backlash. Every gaming website is going to write a nasty article about Nintendo turning their back on it core gamers.
