You know, Nintendo is really biting themselves in the ass with all this. They're trying to tell us they want the hardcore gamers back, yet they refuse to support the hardcore gamers with games they could easily give them this year. Why will the hardcore buy a Wii 2 when Nintnedo is fucking them over left and right lately, and getting WORSE? They should be going out of their way to release as many great games as possible to make us happy, like they used to do. Instead, they seem intent on making us pissed and hateful.
The Wii could actually have a great last year in the USA if all these games were released. Yet instead, its going to have the worst year its ever had. An ABYSMAL year. All because Nintendo of America lost their balls.
The Gamecube had a much better final year. The fucking NINTENDO 64 had a much better final year. This is how they want the Wii to go out? I mean REALLY?!
Nintendo, you are not breeding faith in the hardcore gamer in me right now.
On another note, when you have 2 of the most badass looking RPG's exclusive to your console that have come out in years, and you refuse to release them in one of the biggest markets in the world, is that a good way to WOO companies like Squareenix into Wii 2 development? By telling them you have no faith in their area of expertise?
I just pre-ordered MONADO: BEGINNING OF THE WORLD off of Amazon! Can't wait to get it!

Attention Steel (and Travo, Archie and anyone else with a 360) ...!
I know how Steel feels about Tower Defense and Strategy games, I don't know about the rest of you though --BUT-- you should give Trenched by Double Fine a try!
It's one part Mech shooter, a-la Mechwarrior, one part Tower Defense game, a-la Defense Grid: The Awakening, and a bit of a Loot game as well, a-la Borderlands --AND-- it has Double Fines trade-mark humor and attitude.
You basically control a walking Trench. You have Standard, Engineer and Heavy Styles. How many weapons you can have equipped on your Mech, your Mech's Speed and how many Emplacements (Turrets and Support Structures, etc) you can deploy are dependent on your body style. You control the mech during Waves to protect some kind of Building or Location. You earn Scrap and Loot as you Battle to Power Up your Emplacements and to Equip on your Mech between battles.
It has a definite addicting quality to it, like any Loot game, but BEST OF ALL: THIS ONE IS ONLINE ENABLED FOR UP TO FOUR PLAYERS ! ! !
...and if all that doesn't sell it to you: YOU CAN DRESS YOUR MARINE IN FUNNY LITTLE HATS and CHOOSE DIFFERENT COLOR SCHEMES FOR YOUR MECHS ! ! ! GOTY ! ! !

At least you can see that he read your letter and replied personally by mentioning the games you did.
BTW, Pandora's Tower, I don't think that title is any good, the most recent review I saw for it was 70% but it was an english mag trying to play a japanese game.
Yeah when I was reading that IGN feature on upcoming wii games I was like......... ah yeah that's the US list. And it was pretty lame.

Trenched sounds and looks like a really great game but with so many other games both downloadable and retail plus dlc that I have on my "to get" list I'm not sure when I'll get around to picking it up. It's just not a high enough priority for me right now.
That Black Eyed Peas game should sell like hotcakes. I've enjoyed listening to some of their songs and it'd make for a really fun experience for Kinect. Plus Fergie is smokin' hot.Last night:
