Oh, I recall that mission. Yeah, that dude's a prick.
Damn, its like a post E3 hangover, nothing interesting to read news wise. Apart from Duke Nukem flopping.![Nyaa](/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)
These low reviews saying its dated are backwards. Those are the sort of scores modern FPSers should be getting.
Dear lord you were playing Children of Mana and you didn't put a gun to your head? Wow that was a bad game. Glad to see you quit.
Carmack is starting to hack me off, he just said that PS Vita graphics would look pokey a year or two after release and that the visuals only look good because people are programming for it as a console as oppossed to similar spec android phones. All the guy can think about is graphics non-stop and its taken him 7 years to deliver Rage. Doom 3 was a gameplay dinosaur too.
That Wii U controller is slim. I hope that means the end of batteries and a USB recharger.
I don't know why Carmack even bothers commenting on consoles or handhelds. It's not like he really develops for them. A couple of his games have been ported but unless I'm forgetting about something he's shown more interest in mobile games than anything other than PC's.
On that Tekken Wii U article they talked a lot about the custom features like drawing on your character, ad there was something both funny and sadly accurate:
For instance, you can draw on your opponents face if you beat them in a match, and whatever you draw there may stay on their character for up to a year. In the video above, someone draws a goatee and rosy cheeks on Kazuya. I'm betting that in real life, we'll be seeing a lot fewer goatees, and a lot more cartoon genitalia.
Yep.... that's get ready to see a cock drawn on the side of Kazuya's face.
And I shutter to think what's going to happen to the Williams' sisters.
I'll give a character a Dirty Sanchez.
Be sure to wash your TV screen afterwards.... and your finger too.
I didn't play anything this past weekend as I went camping with family. I did play and finish a couple of games last week though.
The first was Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword on the DS. It was quite good. It looked pretty good for a DS game and the combat mechanics worked quite well. It was definitely easier then the console games especially the bosses. Took me about 7 hours.
The second game was Dead to Rights: Retribution for the 360. Pretty fun game with some cool aspects to the gameplay mechanics such as disarming foes, using them for cover, and the brutal takedowns. The stealthy sections where you play as the dog Shadow were neat and his takedowns such as tearing out their throats, clawing at their chests, and savaging their groins are quite brutal. Took me about 12 hours for this one. Both games were excellent deals at only $10 each.
""We're going to release lots of Bethesda/ZeniMax data today—however we might not release their 200,000+ users as we love Call of Cthulhu," another Twitter message from the group stated. Then the group began the threats. "Bethesda, give everyone more info on Skyrim and we'll keep the user database to ourselves. However we are going to embarrass you anyway," the group wrote. They then asked for a LulzSec top hat to be added to Skyrim."
So average age? 12?
He actually does develop for mobiles and iOS/ Android. All of those were coded by him personally (Doom RPG, Orcs and Whatevers and Rage for iOS).
Yeah, at id that's his job. The other people are supposed to handle everything else. Also id doesn't support Android at this time (at least as of two months ago).
So do you still not drink alcohol? Or did last night break you?
Anybody else but me think that Beyond Good and Evil 2 is being held back to be a Wii U exclusive? The Controller and Jade's Photography would seem to go hand-in-hand, no?
Question of the Week, I have been mulling over in my mind: Is Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition a worthy update?
I have been playing since Saturday and still have to say: I just don't know! Let me make this clear: I have always been and will always be a HUGE Street Fighter fan and have/will always buy anything bearing the Street Fighter name. I got the update on Saturday (and maybe this is just what happens with the DL update only) --BUT-- the Title Screen remains the same, just with a Gold Logo signifying you are actually playing Arcade Edition. All intros for all characters remain the same as in Super. NONE of the new characters, Yun, Yang, Evil Ryu or Oni, get Trials! As far as I have heard NONE of them get "Rival Battles" before facing Seth. Probably worst of all: You need to meet certain conditions to even FIGHT Oni or Evil Ryu. You need to do things like: Get the First Attack for Ten Rounds, Not Continue and Get 3 Ultra Finishes, for example, JUST to even fight them! They ARE unlocked at the start, as is everyone else, to play AS, but you could feasibly play Single Player and NEVER, EVER see these two! Yun and Yang are added to the Regular Line-Up, so you will encounter them --BUT-- the fact that they don't have Trials or Rival Battles seems pathetically lazy on Capcom's part! Yes, it's true they've added a ton of Online Features, such as Tracking Pro-Players and Automatically Receiving replays of their fights and Organizing and Sharing your own has been made very easy too, but is that enough? Street Fighter Tournament players seem to think the 're-balancing' of the characters MORE THAN justifies AE's existence, but I just don't know! There's also a Free Upgrade kit so (I think) owners of Super Street Fighter IV can fight against people who own AE and even who are using the 4 new guys, but again is this enough?
I love the game as much as I love Street Fighter IV, but even I have to question the value of this package! One other thing, Ono swore up and down that early Downloaders were getting the SAME game as people who buy the disc version, but now I am hearing rumblings of a Specific Title Screen for the Disc version and even the possibility of Trials and Rival Battles on the Disc-based version! Foul, I say! The next few weeks will be very telling when it comes to illustrating how Capcom will treat their fan base for the fore-seeable future!
Pachter says the U is two years too late? Of course, he says that! That's how long he's predicted it was coming.![Nyaa](/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)
