I tried The Witcher 2. It, its predecessor, and Crysis 1 have nearly convinced me my graphics card is dying. People are telling me the problem sounds like bad VRAM. I submitted a support ticket, almost demanding a replacement this time (second time I'll have sent the card in in two years). I don't want to play TW2 until my eyes won't be assaulted by artifacts. It's much less annoying in TW1, so I think I'll continue on my quest to get a new save game for import into the sequel.

How do these things work in the US? The landlord has to come through? Or are things handled through insurance companies?

ATI (now AMD) Radeon HD 4890, purchased July 29, 2009. The warranty will end on that date this year.
