That RE Raccon story has not hit the outlets yet (or Capcom official PR).  

Don't see the point if it doesn't have Wii-like Move controls at least. I think I prefer the S/ED blur over a super sharp image making all the flaws incredibly apparent. Going by the magazine scans Code Veronica may have gotten a lighting update, I saw Claire with a proper shadow instead of circle blob. But that could just be bullshit. It's not like their "before HD" RE4 images are really representative of the GC/Wii versions...

Ditto. Except for the whole DL only thing (if that is indeed the case).  It would take months for me to DL.  I DL'd the patch for RE5 yesterday and it took 3 hours to do 120 MB).

Good point Archie.  I think I kind of prefer achievements over trophies.  I guess it's because I've been working on my achievements for over three years.

I am just now getting into trophies.  I don't dig the synching thing.  Sony's got a way to go.

3DS Parts cost $101 According to Breakdown

No surprise here. Patcher's one intelligent prediction regarding the 3DS was the high price. Nintendo saw the insane demand for their hardware with the Wii and DS and the higher than retail sales that went on eBay and they wanted that money. The good news is a price drop will come for the 3DS very quickly because of this (unless it still continues to be sold out for a year). I'm expecting one to counter Sony's NGP launch.

All true. It's helpful to keep in mind with these breakdown costs that that is just the raw materials too.  You have to throw in R&D, assembly, packaging, transport, marketing, QA and administration to get the "true" cost, which I could easily see adding at least an additional $50-$70 per unit.
