I've finally finished No More Heroes 2. I must have died a dozen times at the last boss. What an annoyingly cheap bitch. Anyway, great if still rough game, but it lacks the stupidly over the top finale of the original and most of the bosses aren't as cool. There are a few highlights though, and it makes up for it by having Travis' interactions with others as fun as ever, and letting you play as Shinobu. I hope there will be a 3 at some point, maybe with a high budget this time, so they can put in all the fan service they possibly can. And bring back the overworld (apparently it was planned for 2 but was cut for budget reasons alongside many other changes, it kinda shows that the game feels unfinished) and put some sandbox into the gameplay with dynamic ranks and such outside the mains.

I gave the original No More Heores a 10, the sewuel a 9 and at this point... I've kind of had enough.

I don't think Suda really wanted to do a sequel (he doesn't like sequels) and so maybe they can just let the series sit as it is.

Brazil is the gold standard for terrible corporate presence.  Yes, there are releases there, but years late at absurd prices.

However, I wouldn't give much credence to this report.  There are a plethora of BS piracy reports that have come out of the US as an excuse to bully other countries into the corporately sponsored copyright legislation and treaties (see: ACTA).  I also find it very hard to believe that Spain, a country of 46 million, has more game torrent activity than the United States.

Yoda, still interesting to talk about.  I don't know anything about Spain, so I have no idea -- maybe they have a disc production plant there that is used by some EU publishers -- maybe they have amazing internet speeds that make sourcing a breeze.

Why would the US put out more than any other country? In the US we get the cheapest retail in the world, and from all international accounts we are all lazy and unintelligent, probably too stupid in fact to even figure out how to rip a game to a torrent site.

ACTA is a bogeyman of EFF, it's just used as a fundraiser.  It's not going to happen.  Yeah the US and Japan started it, but that's because the US and Japan had the most to lose.
