Okay about the Strikeforce HW tournament.

Sergei Kharitonov actually has wins over both Werdum and Alistair Overeem. He is actually 1-1 with Ubereem, they had a fight where Overeem actually ran away like a pussy and was knocked out and fell halfway through the ropes. Just a few years ago, he was really out of shape and lost a few matches by susmissions. But lately he is in great shape and is also doing K1 (kickboxing). His style is in your face trying to fucking kill you. The guy has some vicious body shots. He is a bit flat footed and he eats a lot of punches too, he is not like Fedor that dodges everything, but he can take it. He is submitable if you can get him to the ground.

Barnett, the roider that took down Affliction. Well he has an awesome ground game. His style is Catch wrestling and it is proven effective. Many leglocks is his repetoire too. He is big and is pretty good standing. He is also tough. But he has not be tested lately (fighting subpar competition) and the question remains can he piss clean this time?

I think Barnett will beat Rogers, Kharitonov - Barnett, who knows?

Big Foot is huge and his easter island statue for face could take Fedor's bombs like they are nothing. He has good takedowns as seen in the last fight. Duking under Fedor's right hand and shooting was a thing of beauty. And he is a Brazilian Jiu Jutsu blackbelt. One the ground he is really good. He has also some nice boxing, he actually hit Fedor a few times standing, not many people have done that. Really a dark horse in this tournament.

Fabricio Werdum, a.k.a. the Emelianenko hunter. This guy has the best BJJ of all the heavyweight. Watch his match against Big Foot, he is alble to reverse the guy with ease. Fedor ws not able to do that and had his face molested. He is also tought, only been finished once and he came in really bad shape then. His standup is weak but he does not need that. He needs good takedowns and that is the one thing he never quite had. If he can take people like Overeem down, he will win. But that's a pretty big if. Werdum has a win against Overeem, but Overeem used to be a lot smaller then and Werdum had trouble taking him down.

Alistair Overeem, the current Strikeforce champ and K1 champ. He actually won the K1 tournament last year, one of the most prestigious kick boxing tournament in the world. His strength is his standup, he will knock you out. He has vicious knees from the clinch, he actually puts people in mini-coma's with them. Alistair has showed in the past that he lackes hart, taping from strikes, running away and getting almost killed multiple times. He has been pounded out multiple times, and the question is can he keep it standing? If he can, he wins, if not who knows?

Overall Overeem is probably favorite against Werdum. I don't think Werdum can take him down, and Overeem is not going to dive in his guard like Fedor did. Overeem - Big Foot is though. Big Foot chin is huge, can Overeem knock him out. If Big Foot get's him in the same position as he got Fedor, he will pound him out. Overeem has not the durability and hearth.

So I think it will be Overeem/ Big Foot against Kharitonov/Barnett.

Excellent analysis, this seems like a good tournament, going in I just wanted to see Fedor but there will be some good matchups.

We never talked about Anderson Silva's killer foot. Is there a better PFP fighter in the world right now? He toys with people, its insane.
