great news for dq fans NINTENDO ANNOUNCES NORTH AMERICAN DEBUT OF DRAGON QUEST VI: REALMS OF REVELATION
EDMOND, Wash., Dec. 20, 2010 - Nintendo of America today gave video game fans across North America something sweet to look forward to on Valentine's Day, and it has nothing to do with flowers or chocolates. On Feb. 14, DRAGON QUEST® VI: Realms of RevelationTM - previously unavailable outside of Japan - will make its North American debut exclusively on the hand-held Nintendo DSTM family of systems. Combining classic role-playing adventure with new character options and enhancements, the game offers hours of imaginative DRAGON QUEST fun spanning several unique game worlds that can be enjoyed on the go.

That is excellent news indeed. The fact that it'll be out so soon is even better. With all the "maybe it'll come, maybe it wont'" talk I was expecting it wouldn't be here until next summer. Now just give us a damned announcement about DQX and I'll be set.
This is great news. It will please many people here. Aspro even pre-ordered this game long before it was even announced
___
Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
i was expecting march and nintendo must be publishing it in n/a like with 9 if on their press page they talk about its release
That would make sense, though it surprises me a little bit. I haven't seen any recent sales numbers but I didn't think DQ9 sold especially well. If VGChartz is to be given any credence they only reported a little over 300K, which is only half of what DQ8 did. Then again I suppose that's still a lot better than DQ5. Whatever the reason I'm happy to get it.
DQ games have never been good sellers in america and that was part of the reason why enix closed down their north american branch and in the early to mid 90ies and why we lost out on dq 5 and 6 and a lot of other good enix games
but i don't care now because we are getting it and now its just a matter of time that eu gets it
You know I wonder what would have happened had Enix stuck it out in the 90's like Square did. The Final Fantasy series wasn't really a big deal until FF7, but it was their 16 bit RPGs that set them up for RPG domination in the late 90's. Had Enix stuck around on the SNES, maybe they would have benefited a little more in this country with the DQ series.
WTF is up with that RE4 article, its like 5 years late and the usual crap you hear from RE4 haters.
First 10/10 LBP2 review.
