Not having wireless in home shouldn't be a problem. Everyplace seems to offer it now. Hell, you can get it at McDonalds. Most DSiWare downloads in less than 5 minutes.
Well, in that case the Wii won't work as a router, but you can get a wireless router for as cheap as $20 these days. At that price the signal strength is weak and range is usually pretty limited, but if you don't have a big place it'll do the trick.
The price shouldn't affect the signal strength and range. The signal is dictated by the standard. 802.11g should have an unobstructed range of about 150 feet.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileThis better be like those times the download starts off slow, then reaches around 60% and instantly reaches 100%.

So do you have the wired adapter for the Wii to access the Internet through an ethernet connection?
---
Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileI have played DKC Returns, one of the best games of the year hands down. This game is way better than the other DKC games and besides Galaxy 2 has to be the best platformer of the year. I have completed two worlds and every level is a joy to play with something new to offer. The level design is spectacular with the backgrounds being far more organic than in DKC and far better platforming elements. No stupid saving system and for the most part the frustration is all gone. Those that like expert play can play all levels in a time attack mode which requires a perfect run through each level. The only thing I don't like is the use of waggle, it makes rolling no where near as precise as in the SNES games. Why no classic or GC controller support?
You can have a load of fun on the creator mode and not really make a serious level. To make one of the best levels it will take many many many hours. They say LBP2 is a lot easier to create because you can put complex actions on chips and hand them to other players. In LBP it was a mission to create any kind of switches and stuff, in this game someone can make a chip that does it all and you can grab it from him.
Don't be a grinch. The 3DS is even smaller than a DSi (though the screens aer bigger), so there is still a good reason to get an XL.
And we never got to the bottom of Leo's DS sale did we?
I swear there is a dongle. Raven should know.
I'm playing this right now. $0.49 was its price.
I have the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector and I would be happy to send it to you completely free. I haven't used it in many years (since getting a wireless router). PM me your postal address if you like.

Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
There is indeed. You should be able to pick it up at any Best Buy or Walmart for about $40. It plugs into your PC's USB port and the Wii/ DS senses it as your online device.
^ I had a Nintendo Wi-Fi USB connector, and it worked pretty well with both Wii and DS. Nintendo stopped making them years ago, though. I sold mine on Ebay back in September for $40.
