maybe if some people were smarter they wouldn't have hard time wth simple puzzles and the puzzles in the cartoon layton would never say
Yeah, once I got hooked on multiplayer back then, I couldn't put it down. I really enjoyed the competitive nature of the games.
I haven't been playing lately but I got my money's worth by spending gazillion hours online with MW, MW2, and W@W. I used to crticize the CoD games for having really short single player campaigns, but after I got into multiplayer, I don't bash it anymore. Because it's the multiplayer that'll give you your money's worth, if one gets into it.
It was the same with Bad Company 2. I think I played an hour of the single player campaign and never touched it again. It's not bad but the multiplayer is where the game shines.
Which is why I don't recommend the CoD games for the single player. I'd say just get Goldeneye Wii for a solid single player.

Now Playing: Golden Sun Dark Dawn, God of War Ghost of Sparta, and DKC Returns
I'll likely get both since I've run my FPS (current gen) collection dry (still have KZone2 though).
I played Halo3 online for the first time this week (I was testing how much bandwidth it would take). I really suck at it, but man I love online shooters. It's like me and bowling.
Platforming for all you guys that say you hold forward to win.
I played Kinect at Best Buy, the display had no one playing cause I assume most people have no clue how to use it or they don't want to look like a moron. I jumped in and had to calibrate where I would stand and it was pretty far back and you do need lots of space to move around, impossible in my room. I got to move around menus with my hand as a cursor, here you notice the lag. It is about a second lag but you get used to it. To press on anything on the menu you hold your hand around it for about a second or two.
Kinect Adventures was the game on display so I did the ball hitting game where you need to smack balls at targets at the far end of a wall. The game launches balls and you smack them, if you do a hitting motion you will hit the ball harder. As long as your on screen representation touches any part of a ball you will hit it back. So I moved my hands to hit the balls at the targets. Sometimes I felt like my aim worked and many times it felt random. Didn't matter cause the game was so simple. I didn't put much effort into it cause people started to watch and I felt like a crazy person.
Next I tried out this game where you need to plug holes in a fish tank as they are created. So you put your hand out and forward to plug the leak. Again simple. I tried the game where you are in this moving cart and you have to duck under obstacles or move side to side to avoid them. Here I noticed how much space you have you literally can move a few full steps in either direction and still be in the game so it covers lots of space, probably for two players.
As I played people watched, I felt stupid. I never tried anything that had me jumping around and I rarely gave full effort. But would I want too, I don't know. It seemed fun for a while but it gets boring quick. I saw no potential for real game application, it is a big party game machine. I swear I have done something like this at Disney world many many years ago, that is what it felt like, a theme park attraction.
Today I also saw a demo of a 3D Sony TV. I saw Motorstorm and Stardust during the display. If you have seen a recent 3D movie in the theater you know how it looks, its the same feeling of the screen being deeper. For movies its fine, its like the theater in your home. For sports is an odd effect but still a cool one. For gaming its amazing. There is something about a game that fits 3D so much more than other formats. Motorstorm was stunning, your car is in front and the whole track feels like it goes into the screen. Its a great effect that works. Stardust is more simple cause its one plane, still the effect is a nice one. 3D works for gaming and I can only imagine what it feels like to actually control it.
Here is the problem, the glasses are terrible. They are big, bulky and weigh a ton. There are rubber clamps to put on your nose, I felt like it was squeezing my bone, I was almost getting a headache from it. I could not watch that for more than ten minutes. In the theaters the glasses are normal, light glasses, you hardly feel them. This is like putting NV googles on it was so bulky.
Until they do glassesless 3D TVs I will not bother with it.
DK Jungle Beat and Muramasa get.
I only played DK:JB for one second. No joke, just to see if the game works. Played an hour of Muramasa with Kisuke, and I killed lot's of Iga's. I feel dirty
Hamster and I are back from our cruise! I brought pictures!

I'm a hairy monster.
Kinect selling out at retailers?
I will just say that at my Best Buy there were Kinects EVERYWHERE. A lot were bundles, in fact I dont know if I even saw non-kinect 360 bundles, they are probably hidden.
It's the truth. My GC version and bogos were stolen and I thought I should replace them with the New Play version but I couldn't get into it
