They sell the PS3 + Move Starter Pack for 362 euros here. And that only includes one Move wand and no game bundle, just demos. So for the full experience I'd need another wand, the Navigator thing, and a couple of games... No thanks... If it goes down to 300 with at least two wands and one full game bundled I'll consider it seriously if some of the other things I wrote above are met... I'd probably also sell or gift at least one of my current systems though, there are too many games to buy/play already... So I guess it needs to be so good that I won't miss them.

That's 362.00 Euros = 302.04 British pounds sterling
Jeez, the problem is that at this point in the lifecycle asking for £300 for a 4 year old system with a new controller, that's rough. I usually have a £200 threshold when it comes to consoles.
The cheapest i've seen, which was online, was £45 for the move-mote plus eyetoy + demo disc bundle and another £23 for the additional controller. And right now the only game already out that interests me is RE5 move edition (LBP2 and inFamous 2 could also be fun potentially but I'm not getting those until they're down to the £15-£18 range so it could be a while). So at present it's too expensive and it doesn't have the games to justify my purchasing it even though I already have a PS3 but it is entirely possible that I will get it in the future

Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
Yeah a pistol is going to stop Iron Man.
They are both kicking the Sun.
I didn't like the initial media but the game's starting to look good. Spiderman looks cool.

I guess nothing. Every game has a floating city with buildings exploding and coming down on the character in real time. Every FPS has rollercoaster like grinding across buildings, where you can engange in rollercoaster riding combat. All games have the variety in combat that a bioshock has allowing you to manipulate the enviornment in so many different ways. So many games have this excellent art style and unique setting. Remember in Bioshock when you had to fight off a mob of about 20 people and you and a partner had to combine powers to defeat them, oh wait no cause thats only this game.
That footage was nothing short of mindblowing.
That's kind of cool. I didn't know that X-23 was going to be a selectable character. Neat addition. The graphics have been touched up some too I think since the first images were released. Wolverine and Iron Man don't look like they're made of plastic so much anymore. I think the shadowing is helping that out.
Castlevania demo today for EU PSN... Plus members. NOOOOO. Stupid Plus. It comes next week for normal smart people.
I'm definitely picking Move up, probably sometime in October after I get Castlevania: LoS first of course.

Also, Cave Story is going DSiWare, you should all buy it there while us Europeans still wait for the WiiWare release...

I really don't see any reason for a new Xbox or a Playstation in the next 3 years at least. Normally when a console has been out 5 years, it starts looking dated as hell. These systems just keep looking better & the games are at a very polished level now with developers knowing how to tap into them. Why ruin the fun by forcing new consoles and forcing people to shell out another $300+ for them? The only company that needs an upgrade is Nintendo, for obvious reasons.
I thought the Gamecube & especially Xbox could have lasted another couple years LAST gen, too. Though I guess you could say Cube did last that long, and longer, in a way. IMO though, these systems didn't get squeezed for power the way PS2 did, and if they had been, we would have continued to see them improve for a few extra years. I had more than enough of PS2 though, by the time Xbox 360 came out. And really, Sony should have been the 1st one out with new hardware.
Really though, what's the point in a new Xbox or Playstation? How much better are the graphics, sound, and everything else really going to be? Enough to justify an upgrade?
Great news about Cave Story going to the DSi. I'm a lot more likely to play a game like that on a handheld.
Trackmania Wii was reviewed by CVG with a 79% but it's very slim on information and reads like he just passed most of it like shovelware, unaware of the series' status and the potential for online communities to form around it, in order to explain if what the series does best is intact in this release. I thought the game was pushed back but I guess not... And those pesky reviewers leaked it as usual so it's all over torrent sites already...

GOG are now officially the biggest assholes in the game industry.
Holy shit gamespot is so SLOW at getting to the news. When I visit their site to see if they have anything new ist's always stuff from yesterday. AND they never break anything. Maybe they shoudl take their news guys off the podcast and have them report.
I know I've bitched about this before, but it's nuts to me. NUTS!
From bitmob.com
"A new analysis report by research company NPD Group reveals that full-game digital downloads surpassed boxed retail sales during the first six months of 2010. 11.2 million games were purchased and downloaded online versus brick-and-mortar game store sales of 8.2 million. Frontline digital retailers such as Steam and Bigfish were the main contributors to the improved number. However, overall PC game sales declined 21 percent compared to the same time period last year. The reason? An "expansion of social network gaming as well as the continued expansion of free game options,” according to industry analyst Anita Frazier. I guess I should unplug my roommate's computer whenever he goes on a Farmville binge so he won't contribute to the death of my beloved platform."
Numbers that mean nothing... They should tell us what exactly was sold online, if it was 11 million downloads with an average price of $5 thanks to all the "mini" type stuff sold for a few cents to a dollar it hardly means anything against retail titles with an average price of $40 per title... Other than reinforce that digital releases are suitable for smaller lower budget and/or indie games for now... Or reinforce that it's more suitable on PC than on consoles...

C'mon -- where's the outrage? Oh here's some, thank you Destructoid:
Good Old Games has officially revealed that its site "closure" was just a big hoax to promote the launch of a new website. Having taken its site down since Sunday and blocking customers from accessing any games they might have just purchased, GOG has effectively said "f*ck you" to its users just for attention.
