Aww, it was so peaceful around here, oh well.
(There you are, was worried a crane fell on you. Then I realized that probably wouldn't hurt a super robot.)
See its shit like this that I've always hated about Sony. They were worse for idiotic comments like this when they were leading the industry for 10 years. Yeah, it sounds like they're HAPPY they put a company out of business....as if its a great thing that they made a lot of people lose their jobs who were doing a GREAT job with an amazing fun console that was way ahead of its time. Fuck you Sony. Fuck you.
And they give themselves too much credit for the act. You could easily say it was a combo of Sony and Nintendo that did SEGA in. You could also say Microsoft entering the console business was the final straw for SEGA. Hey Sony, the Dreamcast was a better games machine than the PS2 all the way up to the end, but you won the battle on MOVIE MEDIA just like you tried doing this time. And failed. What do ya think about that?
New England Patriots
Is that Belichick's wife!?!?!?!?!?
I did my own research and it seems like Belichick divorsed is wife of 20 something years back in 05, after winning 3 super bowls. Now he is dating, maybe engaged to that woman, zero super bowls. I wouldn't care as much about winning super bowls either if I had that to come home to every night.

Baby got boobs.
I don't know who she is, but she looks familiar. Hot ass cougar that's for sure. I just found that on google and decided it was good stuff.
Good ol' unreliable Wikipedia has the answers! She used to be a secretary for the Patriots that Belichick was messing around with while he was married. He got a divorce because of that. And according to Wiki, there was another woman that he was involved with!
Belichick is a pimp! Guess he's a cheat on the field with spygate, and uh...off the field!

Now Playing: Golden Sun Dark Dawn, God of War Ghost of Sparta, and DKC Returns
Huh, so, NyxQuest is coming to Steam so those of you without a Wii will finally be able to play
Although I must say it's going to feel weird to use the keybooard for the character movement
Blade Kitten (action platformer for XBLA/PSN I believe) will be on Steam too. It looks promising
Both are coming fairly soon, this month.
I played Shattered Dimensions @ a store and I feel it's shit outside some nice spidey lines. I have no idea what the people who like it are on. I played some of the tutorial and then skipped to levels from others' autosave. The levels are very early 90s 3D in design (and look very ugly in places too). I have no problem with invisible wall type stuff as long as they're masked to make sense, but here the levels progress in nonsensical ways. For example, even though in many parts you use your webs and strength to pull down gates, walls, and other things, in the first Noir level you have to rescue hostages that will then unlock gates for you allowing you to progress. Not to mention the whole place has no roof, it's some sort of factory yard, so spidey could just jump where he wanted. The wall crawling controls like shit and the camera doesn't even understand to keep up with it so you keep going to directions you don't want. It's used very sparringly as well, you mostly just zip along to ledges and things. The actual web swinging feels right when you have a lot of room to maneuver but that doesn't happen often and it's also messy in more closed areas. And the core of the game, the fighting, feels shoddy and half baked with animations that don't quite match in timing with the swing and hit effects, and combos that aren't even fun to pull off, with some Punch-Out!! mode tacked on for bosses, that is not actually good unlike the game it tries to mimic. Go replay Batman: AA instead while you wait for the sequel. With an extra 6 months the game could have been good but as it is it's not worth it, imo, unless later levels somehow manage to provide a compelling experience despite the many issues... I fought Kraven as Amazing Spider-Man and Hammerhead as Noir Spider-Man (and completed the levels leading up to them of course), I didn't do anything beyond the tutorial for the others, they all control similarly except for example Noir Spider-Man sucks in melee so he uses stealth (and the boss fight is shit) while Amazing kicks everyone's ass.

Amnesia is creeping me out... And I've yet to encounter an enemy. I wanna turn them off (you can't, obviously), it's creepy enough without them, lol. The full game has better pacing and atmosphere than the demo too. The demo's areas have been adjusted to provide certain moments much earlier, and it can feel a bit cheesy or disjointed, whereas the full game has a moodier beginning and then opens up a bit to let you explore various differennt areas rather than take you to a straight line through the thing. Though progress is probably still linear at least you get the feeling of some choice in where to go next once you reach the first large hall with a few doors leading to different sections, though some of them are blocked off. The only real downside so far is that not all the visual elements come together nicely, so the lesser quality stuff can be distracting. Lower resolution textures here and there, or the occasional bad particle effect kinda ruin the joy of exploring some places. But it still looks very good overall. I suppose it's more the disjointed look that does it for me, if everything was of equally low quality I'd probably stomach it easier, but for the most part it's good stuff. And it was all made by a handful of people, impressive.
They should totally port it to Wii, the gameplay would be perfect for it, like a first person Shattered Memories with much more interactivity, and the game seems VERY scalable in terms of graphics settings. I tried it on the lowest graphics possible and while certain elements become a pixelly mess when up close, there are no shadows, no effects like reflections and refractions, and all sorts of other things (some of which could be done on Wii actually, but I wanted to see how it is without) like extra texture filtering, normal mapping, and lighting effects, the atmosphere remains because it's mainly due to the setting and audio design. They should totally do that and sell it as a budget title (like it's already on PC). I think it could get enough word of mouth for decent extra profit.

I've rented Shattered Dimensions and so far I'm pleased, though I'll admit the game is probably more appreciated by a comic fan rather than a gamer. The game starts out with a quick training level where you play each of the four Spider-men to learn the basic game elements and then you get into the game. The first level is regular Spider-Man and you're going after Kraven. The gameplay and level design were nothing real impressive. I wouldn't go to the extremes that Agnates did but it's definitely last gen in its design. Reminds me of the Hulk game from last gen. The boss battle with Kraven is fun but lord knows it'd be better if the game's camera wasn't so bad. You'd think that's something devs could get right at this point. Way too early to write it off though. Most reviews said the regular Spider-man levels were the least impressive so I expect the next ones will be better.
What I really appreciate about this game is more of the small things its getting right. Spidey's moves look great. It's how he fights in the comics. Stan Lee does the narration. The voice acting is all very good, and they even got the guy who did Spider-Man's voice from the old "Spider-man and His Amazing Friends" to do the voice for Spider-Man 2099. They're using obscure characters from the Spider-Man universe and all of them seem to be very true to their character. The few liberties they've taken are logical ones that fit in fine.
Not sure if that's going to make anyone but a Spider-Man fan play the game, but for fans its a must. More impressions will be put in a Gaming Forum thread as I play more.
I thought the level design in the Noir level after the Kraven stuff was even worse. I did enjoy some of the Kraven level, web swinging was at least possible in places, and it kinda made sense you didn't crawl along walls much there since it was mostly open and stuff (though there was a lot of fighting and I think it's really shoddy so it brought everything down). But there are no such excuses in the next level and the issues are more apparent. Spider-Man deserved a better game. I mean, even the PS1 game got wall crawling better among other things...
