Warning a huge podcast -- 25 minutes in -- so far they have reviewed 999 and talked about their work on localization on Suikoden 2 and Star Ocean 4 -- and how localization works in general -- very interesting stuff.

Also, Aspro! I picked up Obscure the Aftermath off of PSN after we talked about it.
I read some reviews and they said the game looked good graphically and controlled well. It got average scores because they said it wasn't all that scary, the story was bad, and the game tried to be funny but wasn't. But I didn't care about all that. As long as the game has good controls than I was down for it. Good thing the reviews said the game controls well.
I will try it out tonight! It was only $14.99 so that's not so bad.

Only $14.99? Well, Mr. Moneybags, how about you give me some of that spare cash you have lying there unused? Huh? Huh? Mr. moneybags?
^^ Moneybags? Don't think so, I'm broke! (I wish I was loaded though)
I had some PSN money left over and only paid about $5 extra. Just thought I pick it up since I was always interested in checking it out.

I hate that douchebag Irish kid. "Oh my god you are so shit!" You are you shit head!
That Zelda creepy story was cool but fake.
"Where are you going ASK?"
"Oh, I'm just going to use this loose change I found in my sofa as a door stop."
^^ LOL! I get it Steel! Obscure is a waste of money!
I guess it is.

Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
Spider-Man's first 10 or so minutes for PS360/Wii. The game looks ok, a rental maybe, but the port seems decent... Figures that the one game getting some effort in the Wii version isn't great to begin with but oh well, maybe next time. Not that it couldn't be better, the Wii would benefit from simpler textures closer to the cartoons, rather than all the detail which in low res gets blurry and smudged as well as very aliased, but of course they'd never rework a game so much. The colors overall look washed out too, especially on some of the Spider-Man's costumes.

^Pretty cool.
I've been kind of hoping it would come out on Xbox. I can get it on PC, but would rather not.
I just saw the Avatar movie.
I.
JUST.

AVATAR.
I hate you all.
Played the Vanquish demo last night . . . kinda meh. It looks and sounds fantastic, but the gameplay doesn't quite do it for me. Mainly it's the controls, which I find awkward, especially the sliding nonsense (Yeah, it looks cool, but it doesn't make a damn bit of sense, IMO. I mean, you can slide up stairs, lol!). I'm sure I could get used to it, but that would mean me putting in a lot more time than the demo allows and paying $60, which, of course, I won't do. I'm sure it'll be a great game for those that like this kind of thing, though.
Anthony? I think that was the door I was talking about earlier.
I guess I dodged the bullet.
They did want to do Donkey Kong, they jumped at the chance when Nintendo thought they would turn it down.
It moved?
- focus more on Edgeworth's "human side"
- story will be more about Edgeworth
- Edgeworth is 'conflicted'
- expect more series cameos
- Chess System is more or less Psyche-Locks without the supernatural element, and it will be easy to use
- The first case is meant to make you feel like you've been tossed into the final case, which takes place at Gourd Lake
- Edgeworth, Gumshoe, and Kay are back
- in development since September of last year
- hard to keep a secret
- fan demand made this game happen
- same team as the first game
- sprites have received a graphical upgrade
- Producer : Motohide Eshiro
- Directer : Takeshi Yamazaki
- Designer : Tatsuro Iwamoto
- Music : Noriyuki Iwadare
- Release Date : TBD
- scenarios are nearly complete
- development is roughly 50%
