I'm hoping the game turns out well too. I would be stoked to play a good Bond FPS on my Wii.

I managed to snag Arc Rise Fantasia today at Gamestop. I was surprised it was actually cheaper than the $39.99 listing price. I got it for $34.95. It was weird but I'm very happy about the low price. It was like buying a great DS RPG since they're about the same price range.
Thanks again, Leo, for letting me know about the game's early shipment! Appreciate it!
It's been a long time but I have the entire Saturday to myself and I'm just going to play games the whole day! I haven't done this since I was still in college where all I played was JRPGs after classes and studying. I managed to finish my work earlier so I'm free!
I'm just going buy a bunch of junk food, drinks, turn on my AC and just play whatever I bought this past week. I feel like a kid again...and a nerd!
There are times where I wanted to this and it feels like it's been years since I could just play games all day or a weekend. I just want to let out every stress and steam and just keep this weekend to myself with playing games.
I'm also going to check out Arc Rise so I'll post impressions. Here's a excerpt: it's like a Tales RPG!

Meh about LBP2? HOW DARE YOU!
Double-Meh!
After all, it only does Mini-Games!
Sister is home. No broken collarbone. 4 fractured ribs. Pretty horrible looking bruises and contusions. Everyone is pretty shaken up, especially my nephew, but everyone is otherwise OK. Thanks!
I got my Arc also. Stiff-as-my-wang voice-acting, pretty generic so far...
...all JRPG pale in comparison to DQIX in my eyes at the moment...
...but I'll give it some time; I heard the customization options on the weapons gets crazy later... We'll see.
Why don't you check our thread about it?
Greg Miller doesn't like anything that's not on PS3.
If anyone is interested there are like 20 previews in the Goldeneye thread. Most positive. Seriously though, his impressions are like a blog that's two paragraphs complaining about split screen. The game has 8 player online too.
Dead Space Extraction is good. Check metacritic.
Activision didn't say to themselves "Let's make Goldeneye, what team should we use?"
Eurocom are entirely responsible for this game being made. If you read the interviews, they finished up work on the PS2 Quantum of Solace, then thought about the Bond game they wanted to make. And that was Goldeneye on Wii. They raised the idea with Danjaq the rights holder and Activision then begun planning.
If it weren't for Eurocom, this game woudn't even exist.
Hydro Thunder was kickass. I hear this spiritual successor is only XBL though?
Anyhow I bought Bayonetta, which honestly was a game I never considered owning. That means this week alone I've bought:
Assasins Creed 2
Bayonetta
Fable 2
And I haven't played any of them. I played my first game in 3 weeks today, beat the final boss on Red Steel 2. Very good game, about a 9.0, but not a truly great game. If they tweaked the gameplay so it had an Oblivion structure and used the same controls and visuals it would be pretty darn sweet.
Best Wishes to Leo and his family.
There's a hefty load of Call of Duty in there. It looks very cinematic but I hope that doesn't get in the way of the gameplay. One of the problems of Nightfire was that cutscenes were constantly interupting the gameplay. I don't like iron sights though, give me a cursor any day.
Anyhow, I'm very pleased that this is a re-working rather than just the old game with new graphics.
Updating now

What's that?
That video looked excellent. It was like a first person MGS. Was that footage faithful to the original game?
Buddy what happened to you? I missed it completely. Fractured ribs? Shit ... I don't know what to say. I'm shocked and sad to read this. Hope your injuries heal quickly.

Wow sad to hear glad shes alright though...
Didn't realize that could be taken the wrong way! I've had my share of breaks and fractures, but this time it wasn't me. My sister, niece and nephew were in a bad car accident two days ago. Thankfully, everyone is OK. My sister has fractured ribs and contusions, but it could have been much, much worse. My niece (7) and nephew (11) were on the side of the car that actually got hit. Glass shattered all over my niece, but, miracle of miracles, they are both fine. Bruised with big seat-belt burns across their chests and necks, yes, but I was with them today and it was like nothing ever happened. Thanks for your concern though, and your well-wishes, too, Vader!
My niece's (god-daughter) birthday is tomorrow. I am sooo glad she is okay for that! I went to a bowling party for her today...
...I am VERY pleased to say, Yes, even my Sister was there! She's on heavy doses of Percocet, but she was able to go to her daughter's party! I normally wouldn't be caught dead in a bowling alley, ESPECIALLY on Long Island, but for this HAPPY occasion, I made an exception!
Thank you VERY much!
