Texas A&M is pretty much the biggest redneck school around so the results of it are not surprising. Over 40K rednecks proudly attend and whoop.  Don't ask what "whooping" is. You don't want to know.  And I'm allowed to say this, because half of my family members went there.

My brother went to school in Texas State and said all Texas colleges but his are full of hicks.

Out of genuine curiosity, where does the 95% number come from?  In particular, with regard to aggression, and in addition, to the conclusion of a causal relationship.

Pretty much every study done by professionals and schools like this. Doesn't mean that playing GTA means that you're going to go outside and start a shooting spree but indulging violence does increase most people's aggression for a short amount of time.
