Those are the units used to measure blood pressure. Whenever someone measures your BP, the device used will display prominently the results, as long as you're under 120/80, you're alright.

However, blood pressure has little to do with heart rate, which is the frequency at which your heart beats. Normal heart rate should be in the range of 60-100 bpm (beats per minute), under 60, it's something called bradycardia and over 100, it's called tachycardia.

Systolic and dyastolic are the two "types" of pressure that comprise your BP: 120/80 = systolic/dyastolic.

As far as heart rate goes, 87 bpm is perfectly normal.

Whereas the combat and acrobatic sequences of Forgotten Sands are, in many ways, like those in the fantastic Sands of Time, the story and visuals of the game are a far cry. The plot is utterly predictable, and the characters (outside of the Prince) are forgettable. Likewise the game's visuals, something I normally don't even really notice, are all over the place. At times the game looks pretty fantastic, with great dynamic lighting and a wide array of colors, and at other times the game looks dull and dated. It's too bad, really, because if the story and look of the game could have been as refined as it felt in Sands of Time, 2010's Prince of Persia could have been a game that people remembered as fondly as its predecessor.  

1up/Eurogamer says there is a non-existant story as well. 1up hate the wii controls.

Game seems like it was rushed a little to be there for the movie launch.

Looks like you might as well play the original trilogy and save your money.

At first, I was anticipating the moment when The Forgotten Sands would take off the training wheels and let me decide the best path for the Prince; having just blazed through the 360 version of the game, I was more than ready for something a little more advanced. But once the wheels were off and the puzzles grew in difficulty, my biggest problem didn't come from untangling the logic of puzzle platforming; rather, my biggest issue stemmed from being unable to communicate what I wanted to do using the clunky Wiimote. Granted, the Wiimote has its uses, but The Forgotten Sands seems to be a little too demanding; creating platforms on prescribed areas is all well and good, but having to decide where to precisely place a platform on a 2D representation of a 3D world, often in the middle of a jump -- well, that's just a recipe for frustration. Having to convey information at the screen via pointing while in the middle of grappling with traditional controls feels like the gaming equivalent of patting your head and rubbing your stomach at the same time. .

I knew they would rush these games out before they were ready. Is there really any excitement over new Persia games anymore? Cuz I don't feel any and Sands of Time is one of my favorite games. Its funny that they turned it into a so called trilogy but yet to me Sands almost feels like a stand alone game....almost like its saying "here is the Prince game the way its meant to be....anything after this is just going to be filler". I can see myself going back to Sands many times in the future to remember the experience. Yet I know I'll never play any of the others again.

I think these new games are rentals or $10 bargain bin games.

I took a few minutes during lunch today and tried out BIT.Trip Runner (thanks again Yoda). . . and it's fucking awesome. I was right about thinking there was some Pitfall inspiration at work here.  In fact, in the bonus levels you run through a jungle, picking up gold bars, and jump over campfires, while the company logo scrolls up in a small black bar at the bottom of the screen.  My wife even walked by as I played and asked if I was playing some new Pitfall game.

It's real simple controls. The character is in constant forward motion so you just have to jump and slide to avoid obstacles. Simple controls, but lots of challenge to it. There may be more than that, but I only played the opening two levels.  I can see it having limited appeal to younger gamers, but to anyone who had an Atari 2600 this game is a must own.

And in fact I think the over the shoulder style of Resident Evil 4 would fit better with Dino Crisis than it does in the RE series!!!! Imagine blasting huge ass dino's like that.....every fight would be like a boss fight!

Fuck you Capcom....fuck you up the ass with razor sharp scissors.

I'm with you! Dino Crisis 2 was one of my favorites on the PS1.  Capcom is strange in how they seem to have forgotten what to do with some of what were once huge franchises.  Ghosts and Goblins, Dino Crisis, Strider, Dark Stalkers, Breath of Fire, and Gargoyle's Quest have all been put aside. Final Fight and Bionic Commando were both given attempts at revitalization and sadly failed. And even Mega-Man is now just kind of floating around without any real direction.  

I realize that not every franchise is going to live on forever and some should be retired. But still, you'd think every year or so they'd look at one of their discarded ones and try to reintroduce it to the market.
