Those are the units used to measure blood pressure. Whenever someone measures your BP, the device used will display prominently the results, as long as you're under 120/80, you're alright.
However, blood pressure has little to do with heart rate, which is the frequency at which your heart beats. Normal heart rate should be in the range of 60-100 bpm (beats per minute), under 60, it's something called bradycardia and over 100, it's called tachycardia.
There was cystolic and dystolic or something. The only thing I remember was 87 beats per minute at the end. Someone told me that is very high?
Oh and.... nooooooooooooooooooooooo:
"Regarding ... monetizing used games or downloadable content … most of the games that we will release next year will have downloadable content available from the start. We are looking very carefully at what is being done by EA regarding what we call the '$10 solution,' and we will probably follow that line at sometime in the future." - Ubisoft CFO Alain Martinez
Systolic and dyastolic are the two "types" of pressure that comprise your BP: 120/80 = systolic/dyastolic.
As far as heart rate goes, 87 bpm is perfectly normal.
It boggles my mind how they've let Dino Crisis just wither away over the past 10 years. The first 2 games on the PS1 are classics, they're awesome. DC1 plays just like a RE game, and in fact would be one of the better RE games if it WERE one. Then DC2 was a bit more action-oriented and in fact kind of hinted at where they went with RE. It turned out just as good as DC1.
Then they make a totally half ass sequel on the Xbox as if they could care less, and never bother with it again. The fuck??? I'm pretty sure the PS1 games are some of their best selling titles too. Why they let this great series die.....stupid. I would much rather have had this franchise live on with a new game every couple years than Onimusha or Devil May Cry. Or Bionic fuckin Commando. And in fact I think the over the shoulder style of Resident Evil 4 would fit better with Dino Crisis than it does in the RE series!!!! Imagine blasting huge ass dino's like that.....every fight would be like a boss fight!
Fuck you Capcom....fuck you up the ass with razor sharp scissors.
I knew they would rush these games out before they were ready. Is there really any excitement over new Persia games anymore? Cuz I don't feel any and Sands of Time is one of my favorite games. Its funny that they turned it into a so called trilogy but yet to me Sands almost feels like a stand alone game....almost like its saying "here is the Prince game the way its meant to be....anything after this is just going to be filler". I can see myself going back to Sands many times in the future to remember the experience. Yet I know I'll never play any of the others again.
I think these new games are rentals or $10 bargain bin games.
THIS.
I took a few minutes during lunch today and tried out BIT.Trip Runner (thanks again Yoda). . . and it's fucking awesome. I was right about thinking there was some Pitfall inspiration at work here. In fact, in the bonus levels you run through a jungle, picking up gold bars, and jump over campfires, while the company logo scrolls up in a small black bar at the bottom of the screen. My wife even walked by as I played and asked if I was playing some new Pitfall game.
It's real simple controls. The character is in constant forward motion so you just have to jump and slide to avoid obstacles. Simple controls, but lots of challenge to it. There may be more than that, but I only played the opening two levels. I can see it having limited appeal to younger gamers, but to anyone who had an Atari 2600 this game is a must own.
sold.

I'm with you! Dino Crisis 2 was one of my favorites on the PS1. Capcom is strange in how they seem to have forgotten what to do with some of what were once huge franchises. Ghosts and Goblins, Dino Crisis, Strider, Dark Stalkers, Breath of Fire, and Gargoyle's Quest have all been put aside. Final Fight and Bionic Commando were both given attempts at revitalization and sadly failed. And even Mega-Man is now just kind of floating around without any real direction.
I realize that not every franchise is going to live on forever and some should be retired. But still, you'd think every year or so they'd look at one of their discarded ones and try to reintroduce it to the market.
Here's an example of the Pitfallesque bonus stage. How cool is this?
And Dino Crisis is the easiest out of the bunch to turn into a modern hit. Which is why its so baffling that they ignore it.
For a tutorial, this stuff looks promising.

Until I heard about the $25 extra gift card when you get it at Toys R Us today between 10am - 2pm. So I couldn't resist and I bit on that bait.
Now I can pick up Split Second because of that gift card!
It's been a pretty good day so far. I love video game deals!

And I hope Capcom does announce something good. Lost Planet 2 came out bad so hopefully they revive a classic or popular franchise to make up for the floppage!
And I'm glad the 360 version for Red Dead is the better version. I was a little upset about the PS3's exclusive content, but it looks like R* put that in there to make up for the PS3's deficiencies, that's just my guess.
And those Xenoblades almost look HD! They look good and clean!

I did not falter, not even close. Not my fault GG is a ass. Did not even click the link once I found out either. Not really excited by the news to be honest, meh.
Everyone stop posting anything about Galaxy 2, media black out time is now. Only post reviews and impressions.
I've got a PC copy here somewhere. It's much more of an action game than a horror game.
