A live motion picture! A CG cartoon show! A live tour! Mortal Kombat the book.
Mortal Kombat the flamethrower!
EDIT: There are no words.
I had a 3DO back in the day. It only had a few good games: Gex, Super Street Fighter II Turbo, and Road Rash. Thankfully, I only paid $100 for it, which included those games.
I think this is a very overlooked game. It's pretty cool as I play it. The environmental destruction is awesome! They did a good job in making it look real. Realistic physics, etc.
Anyone else here played this before?

Cool! I'm glad you're having a blast with your new PS3!
I know I said earlier last month that I'm not getting it. But I still do want it soon.

Nope. No one here.
Nope. Waiting for hobo pricing -- like $15. At the time it got some praise, but I htin kit was overshadowed by Far Cry 2.
RE: Chinatown Wars:
#1 Hah!
Here's how you make Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars sound like a massive sales success: "As of February 2010, Chinatown Wars' unit sales in the US represented nearly 50 percent of the unit sales of all M-rated DS titles in the history of the platform." That's Take-Two CEO Ben Feder, via MCV, putting Chinatown Wars' sales into perspective. That means it met the combined sales of the 6 M-rated games on DS to date, which include Dementium: The Ward, Resident Evil: Deadly Silence and Ultimate Mortal Kombat, and the smaller releases: Theresia, Touch the Dead and C.O.R.E.
#2 Sucks. Even though I've always thought that stealing a GTA product is in the spirit of the games.
"Piracy is a real and present danger for our industry and must be addressed, especially in the handheld market," he said. "The commercial performance of Chinatown Wars has certainly suffered at the hands of piracy."
Is it coming out this year?
Then we already know what GOTY is and it isn't this.
Mario is the holiest of all sacred cows in gaming.
CW sold good on DS (eventually), crap on PSP. Dunno why they expected multimillion type success when the old GTA top down titles didn't sell like that, it only boomed when it went 3D gameplay, which CW wasn't. Why should it sell like GTAIII+, as good as a game it is, when it likely cost a fraction of that game's dev costs anyway?
Can't strictly blame piracy either considering two "proper" GTA titles on PSP sold really good, it's clear this particular game and/or how they handled it was at fault this time, especially since the newer the PSP, the harder it is to crack (up to impossible with the latest models), so that means the additional PSP sales since the last GTA title should have made CW sell more than that, if people actually wanted it, but they didn't. Why they didn't is up for debate but it was clear hype failed to generate for the title, despite good reviews.
The optimist proclaims we live in the best of all possible worlds
while the pessimist fears this is true.

^Two quick points. Having played the old top down GTA's and CTWars, they are not reallly similar at all.
Publishers get criticized for porting PS2 engine games to the PSP, so I give them credit for trying something new when they could have just done the same thing again using the GTA4 characters in the old GTA3 engine. They tried something new, and they failed. Given how rampant piracy is on the PSP, that probably did have a lot to do with it. If I were a publisher I'd never release a PC or PSP game given the piracy.
MGS>Mario generally. At least for me.
You are hyped for this game
Your opinion is invalid
I don't see why is that so shocking. The release of a Mario game is not an earth-shattering event for everyone.
