That's Yaya Han. I know her. See!!! She hung out with me during our Rock of Love party at a con we had a couple years back.
For the record I do think think this makes me the coolest person in the forum.
Yeah free online, but I want to know if its region locked to europe.
That costume is so seriously uncool, I have a hard time believing it even exists in this reality.
That is a surprisingly complimentarily editorial from IGN about the 3DS. I think they've hit the nail on the head though. Even though it's far too early to say this, I think Nintendo already hit the nail on the head with this handheld. Handheld 3-D could actually be pretty cool. Think about playing Mario Kart and tilting the screen to get a better look at who is driving nearby you. I could appreciate that.
And the more I think about it, the more I don't think the timing of this announcement isn't that strange at all. Negative press about Nintendo was starting to surface again about hardware shortages, software not selling, lack of a big game until Galaxy 2, etc. Whether or not that stuff is true is one thing, but by making this announcement now, Nintendo once again gets some glowing press. At least they are in most of the mainstream press, which ultimately is the most important for them. Plus the DS is enough of a monster that they don't have to wait until E3 for an announcement about it to get picked up. Besides now they have some hype going into E3 and will get just as much of a favorably reaction once they unveil the system (assuming it doesn't look like the original DS).
Did the updates. Not much going on.
Last Story character designs.
Is it just me or does this not look as good as previous screens?
Overall I think they still look as good. That last one is pretty rough though. Not sure what was going on there...
The older screens were a lot smoother, more vibrant and clean, almost painting like. Here I can see little bitty bits, like I can see how it's made. Colors seem a tad muted too.
Has anyone thought of a good way to put an analogue stick on a handheld?
Can't they put a hole in the lid of a folding handheld so it wont be crushed and would sit flush overall?
Or have a screw on analogue nub?
