Pachter talks Natal, Dsi XL and 3rd Party Wii
I continue to believe that the Wii audience will buy good games, and think that third parties have done a poor job of making them for the Wii.

DS XL.
My DSi is still working just fine after less than a year of ownership. Not sure I'll be able to justify the XL in any way, shape, or form.
Come on. . . Spyborgs 2!!!!!

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobile"Official: Galaxy 2 is here and playable today. Cammie says it's not just a sequel. Now, Nate from the NOA Treehouse is on the stage and demoing the game. Spin-Dig Galaxy -- Digga-Leg's Planet. Mario flies in and lands on a cylindrical world. Gameplay seems very familiar so far. Uses drill -- shake the Wii remote and Mario tunnels through the inside of the planet and comes out on the other side. Hitting publish on this update, but there's more to come so don't fret."
Apparently the demo spoils SMG2, showing boss fight is not the best.
9:25: Waiting for them to announce a release date, but so far they're still demoing stages.
9:24: "There's nobody better [than EAD] at mind-bending creativity." Shows a very similar boss fight to the first one seen in the original Galaxy, but with a gameplay twist. This time, you must use the drill to defeat the two-legged enormity. Mario runs to the opposite side of the planet and then drills through to connect with the boss character's underside. A drill to the crotch, basically -- nothing better.
9:22: Nate continues to go over the controls of Super Mario Galaxy 2, which are pretty much the same as the first game.
9:22: Well, the fact that Galaxy 2 is here proves the game is a first-half 2010 release, which means I will need a cigarette after this conference. Note that I don't smoke and don't endorse smoking.
9:20: Official: Galaxy 2 is here and playable today. Cammie says it's not just a sequel. Now, Nate from the NOA Treehouse is on the stage and demoing the game. Spin-Dig Galaxy -- Digga-Leg's Planet. 9:25: Yoshi! As seen in the trailer -- I know this isn't new, but it's still awesome. Mario rides around on Yoshi. You move with the analog stick still. The pointer controls Yoshi's tongue, which can stretch all over the place and interact with objects. Yoshi eats a blimp fruit, changes into an aqua blue variation, and then floats through the air, his mouth a makeshift exhaust. This is very cool stuff. Mario and Yoshi are flying around a tree-world. Now the angle has shifted to reveal a 2D platformer. Seems like there's going to be much more of this in the sequel -- very welcomed.
GNintendo says they are worried because they've heard no orchestrated music so far
What the F****!!!!!!
9:28: Come on, Nintendo. The beautiful orchestrated soundtrack from the first game appears to be gone, replaced by MIDI-like tunes. This makes me want to stab my own knees.
May 23rd release
