SMB3 only sold more because its 500 points as oppossed to 800. Everyone knows SMW is better. And borrowing games is the only thing brothers are good for!
Gee thanks for the spoiler Aspro
I didn't want to see that room until I actually got there.

WOOT! Let's hope you got the first game with an unlimited air supply, because the second will start beeping until you get a bigger air tank and it will have great whites on your ass.
You cannot die though, you'll just be bumped back to the surface if your air runs out.
Hang on..... what..... what did you guys say about Lost Winds 2?
I'm gonna release my own Lost Winds, right out of my ass and into your open mouths!
Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitttttttttttccccccccccccchhhhhheeesssssssssss!!
My head is large enough to have its own planet on it, like that episode of Futurama when Bender was in space and became a god.

Conduit is the weak link. I find it infuriating when people in the media or developers talk about it, because they claim its a great product or something and lament its sales. It's a average game and got mediocre reviews.
It shouldn't be used as an example of any kind of game failing any kind of console.
I thought The Grinder could have been a good game if they learn from their past mistakes, but with news of it being multiplatform it seems they're focusing on the HD version now, with the new engine and everything. I already have L4D on my PC, I'm not gonna buy The Grinder, I would only get it to play a L4D-like game with my Wii owning friends. If the Wii version appears like a poor cousin, not in visuals but in content and features, including the level variety and structure (since it likely will be a different version, not a port) then no thank you HVS.

I love how SEGA executives come out and say these games are successful and that they continue to sell and that they've made their money back and that they are happy with them. And even recognise the niches they are in with games like Madworld.
And then the media completely ignores all that and berates the first week sales.
So how close are we to the 9 am PST US time for this media summit?
So, anyone else playing Miles Edgeworth?
Does anyone else find that some characters seem drawn very differently than the Phoenix Wright style? The Amano guys and Lablanc seem very different to me and they contrast with edgeworth, big time.
I dont find the game as consistently funny as past titles, but the moments that did make me laugh, made me REALLY laugh. Like when a character was talking about being attacked by a child for instance.
I love the animation for Lablanc when he points his fingers forward and when he gets blown away.

So 9am PST will be 7pm my time (GMT +2). Now it's 5.35pm.

I'm GMT, so it will be about 5pm I guess.
Is there going to be any live video feed or are we all on written blogs now? I hope Eurogamer do one as they have an auto updating page.
It was fun here, when they did the Sin and Punishment, Punch out conference.

Kotaku has these weird scripts running that tend to freeze my computer, and I even got spyware and security warnings about the site from my internet security. I only very occasionally go there these days.
Yep, I'm playing it and somewhere in the 5th chapter right now, probably at the half way point of it. I don't know if the art is that different. For the most part they remind me of characters out of Apollo Justice. It's probably a more of a case of the designs being done specifically for the DS rather than for a GBA game that got ported to the DS, but since Miles and Gumshoe are the most established characters they aren't trying to do too much differently with them.
As far as the game's humor goes, I'm with you in that it's not as consistantly funny as the PW games. However the 5th chapter has me busting up left and right. It seems like they saved all of the good stuff for the final chapter, particularly when two classic Phoenix Wright characters enter the picture at the same time.
I'm still not sure what the final verdict will be with this game. At first I was going to put it neck and neck with Apollo Justice or even a notch under it (that 4th chapter was just awful), but this 5th chapter has been awesome so far and it alone may boost my over all opinion of the game.
I think maybe its just the fatter and older characters, they used to be sort of rotound and plump in past games, here they are wrinkled and have things like sagging skin and double chins.
I was a little annoyed to see Oldbag again, I'm done with her, she's the same couple of gimmicks each time, talking endlessly and edgeworth loving. I like Kay's thief device, that's badass. I'm an hour or so into the 3rd chapter, I'd level peg it with Apollo Justice, maybe slightly under it. As you said before its more linear. Looking forward to the 5th chapter and I hope Phoenix makes an appearance, it seems bizaare how they go out of their way to pretend he doesn't exist so far.
That's true. The new characters generally are a little older and fatter this time. That'll change in the 4th chapter. Still, that chapter just didn't do it for me. Felt like a big step backwards though after chapter 3 which I felt was where the game was finally hitting its stride. I shall say no more until tonight or tomorrow morning when I finish the game up.
Got to admit, since I picked it up, I've played nothing but this game. Even an average Ace Attorney game is still an excellent game in my book. I'm going to feel so sad when I'm done with it.
