All you can hope for is that one team loses while the winning team's quarterback suffers a career ending injury.
I know it's coming out, and I do want it, but I'm not sure I'll be getting it. Comic Convention and Ren Faire season starts up this week so the videogame budget now goes down to one new game a month. Suppose I can always download it and check it out, but if there's online features I may not even bother as I'll be unable to check them out.
And as far as Master Blaster goes, is the new game a remake of the original or a completely new game. I didn't remember the grappling hook in the original game, but it has been a long time. . .
There was Hovering, Wall Climbing and Diving but no Grappling Hook.
Manning was a complete flop! Presumably.
First off, hope y'all had a good weekend!
Currently playing Twilight Princess again along with Darksiders. No more screen-tearing since I finally downloaded the patch! Playing both makes me see the similarities and differences of these games. Zelda feels like a orchestrated score, a masterpiece with a lot of soul, heart, and inspiration. Whereas, Darksiders feels like a amazing piece of heavy metal music. Both made by talented musicians, respectively, but you get the idea.
Also playing some Gears of War 2 again. I realized how much I missed this game. It's a really good third-person shooter, probably still the best one on the 360 or even among all consoles.
And last but definitely not least....DAMN, Colts lost. But I'm still happy for Drew Brees. He deserves it. So it's bitter/sweet for me. Well, I wanted Cardinals to win because I'm a HUGE Kurt Warner fan. Then I wanted Vikings because I wanted to see Favre VS Manning. THEN I wanted Colts because I'm also a fan of Payton Manning.
Dang, I'm 0-3 with my picks! I guess never rely on me when betting on a team, LOL!

I was going for the Colts, I am a Manning fan and I will say that the Saints were just better today. Cleary the Saints outcoached the Colts, the made better decisions, they were more gutsy, and they controlled the clock on their drives. After the first quarter the Colts could not stop the Saints. Yeah they were held to FGs a few times but it was always a scroing drive for the Saints. Drew Brees was on and nobody was going to stop him.
The Colts were not doing bad, they had a few weird drives. One that ended on a drop pass, the three straight runs which looked like the Colts just gave up on trying to score at the end of the half, and the miss FG. They scored on every other drive until that comeback drive. They had the ball to win the game and Peyton made a bad decision. Clearly it was a timing pattern and Porter knew that, I think it was a better defense of play that it was a dumb mistake by the QB. What I mean by that, I feel like with the Vikings, Favre did something really stupid, in this case it was more the defense making an excellent pick. After that whatever, yeah they had a chance to score again but it didn't matter.
The Saints shortened the game, actually they both did, there were really long drives on both. There were fewer possessions than your average game, the game itself felt short. I believe that helped the Saints more than the Colts. The Saints might not have the best defense but they have an opportunistic defense, they always make a play. The last two games they won cause of an interception. In the end defense wins championships and the Saints defense came through. That is not to say there is no blame for Manning, he screwed up for sure. I think it is clear that Saints were just better today all around.
Amazing gameplan by the Saints, incredible play by the players, all around great job. Congrats to the Saints.

Speaking at the 13th Annual Japan Media Arts Festival where he received a Special Achievement Award, Miyamoto is reported to have told the audience that he is working on a new motion based game.
So far the only Nintendo game that uses MotionPlus is Wii Sports Resort, although Miyamoto is also working with Eiji Aonuma on the forthcoming Legend Of Zelda Wii game which, as reported last month, will only work with the accessory.
In the same speech, Miyamoto confirmed that Nintendo is developing new hardware and he also revealed that Super Mario Galaxy was inspired by a hamster. Amazing.
Thanks: Andriasang.
Whoa!
Wow... that's the second not so great review I've seen for this game now. Should be fun to watch where this game goes. I won't lie, as someone who hasn't liked the series for about a decade I'm going to get some delight at watching this game bring in poor reviews.
