I only managed to put a measly 7 hours on the first one, so I'm going to skip this sequel. WiiSpeak kinda sucks. It's really hard to understand people with that thing, which is why mine is in the closet. Take WiiSpeak out of that bundle, and sell the game for $10, then I'd consider it.

I'll buy neither, thank you. I hate those Capcom versus games. If I were going to buy a fighting game, I'd much rather buy SSFIV.
What's the real draw to this thing? Wouldn't a regular SDTV display older games just as well and ultimately be cheaper? Is it just the look of it?
yeah i'm not fussed over wiispeak either. i still have the one i bought for animal crossing ... and i hate it. in fact if i didn't have it stuck on my sensor bar i'm sure it would have been back in the animal crossing box. i wish the wii had a headpiece like any normal console. anyway i modded my wii the other day so i can buy wii games without worrying about regions like i have been able to do with my ps3/ds/psp. if i can get a decent p&p deal the US sku for forever blue 2 may work out cheaper than £25, but most probably about the same. sad to say i'm not as excited about this as i was about the original, even though the online could be a big hook.
right now i'm getting more and more excited about tatsunoko versus capcom. reviews and especially gamer reaction is overwhelmingly positive. i think it is possible i may enjoy this more than SFIV, especially because of the rest of the guys here who are getting it.
by the way ASK, thanks for the impressions. can't wait to play you man. i have no doubt i will start off choosing ryu and chun li as they're the only two characters i'm familiar with in a fighting game context (ok maybe viewtiful joe as well) but i hope to play around and get to know and enjoy much more of the roster

That's pretty standard MMORPG pricing, so I'm not real bothered by it. Ultimately it will depend on how good the game is though. I'm slowly getting more interested in the game. I still don't know enough about it though, so I suppose I really need to start paying more attention to the previews for it.

Yeah pretty much. Are brand new SDTVs still being made where you are? Every shop/outlet I know is phasing them out.
Buy the Euro version please. It may be online region locked like last time and you know I will play it the most so you have a better chance of playing online with me.
I like Wii Speak, I would hate having to sit there with a headset on. I like being free and unfettered. I go commando all the time.

OK will get PAL version of beautiful ocean. the tv i play on though has one little shitty speaker i can hardly make out what you say without asking you to repeat a few times over. and there is always noise in where i play so a headset would be better for me, but let's see them start to implement wiispeak at least, that'll be a start anyway
