The download is unique; something you don't need Punch-Out to download, and is completely one-of-a-kind, you-can't-get-this-anywhere-else COOL --BUT-- it's ALSO digital... You don't really get anything at all --AND-- if you lose your Wii, you lose IT.
I could never see myself making any use of the hat at all... but it's also cool. It's a REAL, PHYSICAL thing...

In your case go for the game. There will always be more Mario Hats. You can get one on eBay right now. The download may never be offered anywhere again (unless of course Nintendo puts it on the VC for $5).

Do you have to pick one of these things that Nintendo is offering? I thought there were more prizes and you could collect more points for better/different ones.
There's only three prizes: two for Platinum, and one for Gold members, but you can only pick one prize out of those three. These prizes don't cost any Club Points; they're all free. Also, you have to choose a prize before August 11, 2009 or you may miss out.
Ah ok then. I garnered enough points to be a Gold member, hehe get it "Gold Member", so I guess I'll get the calender.These are just the annual bonuses for Gold and Plat members, you can still use your gold coins for the other rewards (Like the Game and Watch collection or the Hanafuda cards).
This is actually pretty cool. There's no audience. Just an empty gym. Nice touch. Hopefully it'll come out as a downloadable feature at some point.

You either get a bitchin' hat or a chance to finally get revenge on Doc for all the times he's been stealing Mac's bike.
Either way, it's a cool deal.

Not only that, look at Doc's mean stare. Bet all those candy bars have given him superhuman strenght. He looks like he still packs a hell of a punch.
