Asshole. GG has a pair of pants like those.
Last year it was too risky to develop for the balance board. Today it is not. Maybe it's just a time thing, since you do have to factor in for the development cycle, and no one on earth could have expected as many copies of Wii Fit with the Balance Board to have been sold. But at the very least there should be a few more announcements out there.
At its current pace there will be more Balance boards than PS3s by end of year and the risk arguement will be completely moot. Maybe people are still waiting for that one special developer to come along and create an incredible game to prove it doesn't need to be a fitness or sport game and show that there is a market for games like that (and so they can copy the model for themselves).
If nothing else I got to think that some slick little company will come along and make a quick WiiWare game and prove me right. It'd be nice to see.
Oh and dear GG - I'd like to send you a great big bucket of deep fried screw you!
I'm assuming you're the one with the Indiana Jones update.
Update done.
Shame about BattleForge, the idea was awesome, but it is too complicated for its own good. And micropayments can die in a fire!
Steel read the Eurogamer Wolfenstein Preview, the mention the word 'penis' a lot.
Yep, shame on him.
Carnage is messing up the GGD as usual.
No more Animal Crossing for me
But I have Castlevania OoE and its AMAZING. Best handheld CV ever. Best CV since SOTN. OMG I am in love. Is there a thread on it in the forums, I will write a detailed post there.
When is the last time you played SOTN?
___
Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
Yeah its a different scenario, Wii Fit doesn't surprise me at all. It targets an audience that does include some gamers and all sorts of other people, its almost like a mini version of what happend with the wii and why it took off. It broke free from the traditional sales pattern of games cause its so different a product. Once again I have to hand it to Miyamoto and company cause apparently they know exactly what the public wants.
It doesn't bother me in the slightest cause its a totally separate product/genre that has no impact on the games we like, only that time was spent on making it but whatever.
when will you get animal crossing back? we needs you.
OoE is well worth doing a thread for. never too late
___
Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
But you cant rip them to shreds, they are completely immune to all reasoning. Its quite remarkable really.
The full game, a long time. Pieces of it, last year.
So what are you suggesting?
I believe he's suggesting that you're in love with the guy who does Alucard's voice.
No one is immune to Yoda, he will just ban them. And Bugsy hang you head in shame for even thinking that.
When you have game like Castlevania that improves incrementally with each installment, especially when it is being compared to an installment that was a huge leap (I am not saying quantum leap, because in science it means the smallest possible change) you might want to look play the "quantum leap" installment.
In other words, SoTN might be bettered already by the newer installments, but you might not perceive it because the games improved a little by little.
i wasn't thinking that (well it depends on what you mean by "that") ... i saw it happen, gg once sent me a link to a thread on gaf where grammaton got obliterated
___
Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
I need them that big to fit my nuts in.
Lies, it was you. I posted those pics and more pics not there last week.
How so?
And
I think Vader sent that to me. I like GAF. They dont tolerate trolls easily.
Oh, they tolerate them, and encourage them and lift them to internet stardom. They just don't do that with junior accounts. That's when Grammaton fucked up.
So who are you? I mean in terms of GS if you were from there, I know people by avatars and not names usually.
Maybe, I was thinking about that last night, just wondering why I still feel that SOTN is the best. Maybe its console bias, no denying that SOTN is beautiful to look at and I dont have to play it in a stupid tiny screen.
The leap (dude you just blew my mind with that quantum leap thing, never knew that) obviously has to do with it. My memories are so strong, I remember almost everything about that game. Ask me about Circle of the Moon or Harmony and I dont remember shit, just that I played it.
But at the same time I start thinking about how pefect the pacing was, how awesome the action was done and without the need of 5 billion new glyphs, cards, souls, etc. How memorable and fun the boss fights were. I think about the music, one of the best soundtracks ever. The design, the layout of the castle, the twist where you have an inverted castle.
No doubt the portable games have surpassed SOTN in certain ways but I am not sure they are the complete package that was SOTN. In the end what matters is which game do you have the most fun with, and for me I would still rather go back and play SOTN than any of the portable games.
