It's......... a triforce! And when you tap it, it has the jingle from the menu screen in a Link to the Past! Da da da daaaaaaaaa, da, da da da da da da da daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Only 20 grand.
Okay that's enough updates for the day.
Look at this Ubisoft news:
Ubisoft has delayed the release of I Am Alive until its next financial year, which runs from the start of April until the end of March 2010.
Yesterday the publisher issued a release schedule that said the Darkworks-developed adventure game could be out before then, but this evening CEO Yves Guillemot told investors it had been "postponed until next year, as the game needs more work".
Guillemot subsequently told investors that a sequel to Wii launch title Red Steel would be released in the coming financial year.
Ubisoft's latest financial report has also reiterated that Assassin's Creed 2 and Splinter Cell Conviction will be released before the end of March 2010, along with new Ghost Recon and Anno games.
Other games on the slate for the publisher's coming financial year include James Cameron's Avatar, a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game, the sequel to Arthur and the Invisibles, one other licensed game, three new brands and more casual titles.
Ubisoft also announced worldwide figures for a number of its Christmas releases last year. Shaun White Snowboarding has shipped 2.3 million units to retailers, while Far Cry 2 did 2.9 million, Rayman Raving Rabbids 1.5 million and Prince of Persia 2.2 million.

I'm not sure, but I think some are cutscenes and not in game.
Assassin's Creed 2 before March 2010 is great to hear. I loved the first game so this one's certainly on my list.
I tried the 360 demo for F.E.A.R. 2 and really liked it. It looks to have more level variety then the first one. A pretty nice selection of weapons were in the demo so that's another plus. They did lack 'punch' to them in the sound department. The Power Suit vehicle was very cool. This is another game that's on my 'to buy' list. Not even finished the first month yet and there's a hefty number of games coming within the next little while. I can't wait to try out the Resident Evil 5 demo hitting this Monday.

Perhaps, as long as I can tear myself away from it long enough to post something more then "OMFGWTFBBQ!!!!! This game is awesome!".

I see a turtle pic in your sig! Turtle Poooooooooooower! I just got Vol 3 of the original series last night. Shredder got so peed off with Krang that he put a metal plate over his abdomen. Yes.
Thats the japanese cat thing the PS3 has in the JPN store.
Fallout 3, the only part that seems like it may be randomly generated are the tunnels but even that seems to be unqiue in each area. The world feels a lot more real cause each area is different.

Yeah that's from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Arcade Game which is totally awesome and really captured the TV series. I spent an obscene amount of quarters on that game back in the day. I really hope they bring the sequel out soon.
Yeah I remember that episode. Funny stuff, great times.

In the same episode Bebop was scared by his own reflection and that is how they beat him. What?
There is such a great GTA DS article in the thread in the forum. Extract here:
Alex: It felt a bit weird to begin with because I'm so used to using the radar to plan my escape route, whereas here you have to fight your way out.
Martin: But it's immensely satisfying, ramming a police car into the Humboldt river, and even more so when you're rewarded for doing so. It also makes for snappier chases overall, I think. The wanted system in GTA IV sometimes leads to uncomfortably epic chases and that wouldn't have translated well to a handheld. This way it's possible to have more bite-sized pursuits and it was an interesting solution that definitely worked - though you're right, it was jarring at first.
Alex: The cops were no slouches either and were very keen on pulling you out of your car the moment they boxed you in. Thankfully the combat system worked well. The auto lock-on meant it was easily to mow your way through dozens of enemies with ease, plus I liked the way they implemented the grenade throwing - using the stylus to determine the power and direction of a throw.
Martin: It definitely felt more akin to the GTA of old, the way the action played out on foot - but that's no criticism.
Alex: It feels much more arcadey compared to GTA IV and you're right, it felt a bit more like a throwback to Vice City et al.
Alex: Ah man, the Molotov mission was awesome - lobbing Molotovs while hanging out of a helicopter, then waiting for the resulting chorus of screams as your enemies burned alive. Gloriously sadistic! Plus I liked the way had to make them, by going to the gas station and filling up bottles at the pump. Another example of a really well-integrated mini-game.
DISASTER DAY OF CRISIS GAF IMPRESSIONS
Thread is updated with more in the forum. I like when a different forumers says that MGS1 and this game are linked in some way. The spirit of this game reminded me of that so much.
"I just finished this. It's going to sound so terrible to say about a game that's been reviewed as being merely good and mediocre, but this is one of my favorite games I've ever played. Ever. It's one of the best game Nintendo have put out since the N64 era in my mind - right up there with Wind Waker and Galaxy.
Well, I pre-ordered HOTD: Overkill. First time I've pre-orderd something in a long time---hell the first time I've bought something new from a shop in Australia for awhile.

So fallout 3 is freaking awesome!!!!!!!! The game keeps getting better, each area feels new, not copy pasted.
Oh and I finally beat EBA, barely.
Does it have the random generated areas like Oblivion had?

EA Tennis being Wii Exclusive or Wii as the main platform?
Hmm...well to me this seems like a significant step.
I hope Wii as the main platformer. I would very much like to try this game out.
...
Yes, I like tennis games. I pray every night for Nintendo to release a new Mario Tennis game where they don't include a bullshit powershot mechanic.
It's using Wii as the main platform and using Motionplus as its focus. That reminds me that the Wii Sports Resort junk should be out by April right? EA Real tennis will be coming out on all systems though. Personally I think that unless it has some significant personality and marketing, it wont do well. Wii Tennis is enough for some people and this Play on Wii Mario Tennis remake isn't going to help matters. EA should be making original content like Dead Space and Mirrors Edge on the system to have games which are diferentiated on the platform.
I agree with you on the powershot stuff. I like a tennis game where things are fair and logical, not random crap, that's why I never liked mario tennis 64 and never bought the cube one. I stuck to virtua tennis 2.

So, with the money I got for my 360, I've already built up a nice little PC collection.
So far, I have these badass PC games:
Stalker: Clear Sky
Crysis
Crysis: Warhead
Rome: Total War--Gold Edition
Red Faction
The Witcher--Enhanced Edition
Fallout 3
Grand Theft Auto 4
Dead Space
That's basically every good PC game they had. Think I made out pretty well. Just for the hell of it, I tried installing Stalker on my old PC....it wouldn't even boot up. LOL
I'm putting the beast together today, can't fucking wait. Crysis will be getting violated. Much like Steel's buttocks.
Clear Sky is made by the same guys making Cursed Mountain. You got the Witcher? Bitch!
I was referring more to stuff like the GC/GBA Mario Tennis and Sega Superstars Tennis - where each character has a stupid cheap fucking power shot that essentially breaks the game. Mario Tennis 64 had the courtesy to NOT use that mechanic.
Edge, you getting Empire also? That's looking REAL nice.
Did the updates again. I'm ill again, this makes it a solid 4 weeks. Just as I was recovering from flu, I catch someone elses cold.

Ah I see what you mean. I heard you could turn off powershots in multiplayer? MT64 had this awful double click shot mechanic. You had to hit the button once to set yourself and again to hit. While your character slid about. It was nowhere near realistic enough for a tennis game.
Mukaitoge:We are listening to users’ voices. So, if they strongly want the sequel to Elebits, we will attend to their needs. But, we couldn't make anything that I wanted to because we didn't have enough time to make another Elebits release for Wii. I have a desire and challenge to produce Elebits for Wii again though. But, there is no concrete plan right now.
Which makes this whole interview sound like a F-ing lie!
A number of people were excited to have another Elebits experience. A lot of them said I wish this was released on the Wii, which you know isn’t completely out of the question. That’s probably going to happen in the future
is there going to be a brand new Wii Elebits game?
This is also a good question. One question I’ve asked of our producers and we sat and discussed this. There are a lot of press and fans that enjoyed the first game on the Wii and my question to my producer and the game designers was is the DS story the new direction for the franchise? Mukaitouge-san who is the producer of the first one basically said that the DS experience will be the next direction for the next DS experience. The first Wii game will be the story and the starting point for the next Wii game. There will be two stories that happen in tandem, one on the Wii and one on the DS. They will overlap with characters, environments, and things like that, but each platform will have its own experience.
