Congratulations. You have chosen ... wisely. 1 more towards victory. HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Spent an hour with Mother 3...
Is pretty good so far. Music especially is fucking awesome...
I honestly don't have a problem with this whole LBP situation IF Sony is recalling it to remove those phrases BECAUSE they don't belong in an E-rated game. However, I do have a problem with it if the removal is being done out of fear... which is plausibly the case, and the one I'm inclined to see as Sony's primary motive for the recall.
I've got the phrases. Hang on, I'll bring up my word doc for my podcast:
1- In the 18th second: "كل نفس ذائقة الموت" ("kollo nafsin tha'iqatol mawt", literally: 'Every soul shall have the taste of death').
2- Almost immediately after, in the 27th second: "كل من عليها فان" ("kollo man alaiha fan", literally: 'All that is on earth will perish').
Liesssssssss, they hate you more because you pay 100+ Euros for a game. Besides, with the prices you got there, you have only one choice, import it. Besides Europe is getting Dizastuuuh, and maybe Captain Rainbow.
But we can't import because the dollar is so low all of a sudden.
I'd love to see Snarf get you in a chokehold.
Yeah they did make it a bigger deal, but sometimes for PR purposes you have to. I don't know if you guys saw what happened in the UK when Resistance was launched, but Sony and the PS3 had daily negative coverage about the shootout in a Manchester Cathedral. I guess they wanted to avoid that kind of media ass whupping again. It will cost a bit to reprint the discs, the physical costs of discs is actually rather cheap though the logistics and repacking and all that will cost a lot more. I think they are being responsible about the matter from their perspective.
YES! Did you watch the whole episode? That cracked me up at the end "The bravest of us all!"
And he just has some little saddle for a bat. LOL. The best bit was when he rode towards the screen on the bat shouting "Reconaisaince! Snarf! Snarf!"
I just watched another classic snarf moment last night. I will find the clip, but it was a real doozy. In fact there were 3 Snarf LOL moments in that episode.
So, who or what is the main character and do we get to see his face? Is the ship like Event horizon?
BTW I know no one wants Bwii impressions so I will make this short: do not buy it, hell don't even bother renting unless you were a massive fan of the first. It has no punch, no satisfaction, it feels limp and wafting. You run from checkpoint to checkpoint, constantly interupted by cutscenes and crappy voice acting, only to vaguely lock onto something and vaguely shoot it. There is no complexity to the game, controls for unit switching are convoluted. All those reviews pegging it around 70-7.5 were right.
Okay Snarf moments. From an episode where the Thundercats, apart from Snarf are shrunk down like Land of the Giants into mini people.
This clip:

4:40 minutes, Snarf is ready for battle
6:50 minutes Snarf springs a suprise on Vulture man "Where are the Thunder-midgets, Wolf Rat?"
8:20 minutes, Snarf turns out to be a larger threat to the mutants than they imagined
I think the Wii screens of Sonic Unleashed are pretty great. I think DIMPS is doing a great job
I hear it's the only version with a stable framerate at the moment too. Compare it to..
Oh Capcom
I just came back from the city and I saw a new Wii exclusive magazine. I forgot the name, but it was a Wii magazine for the whole family, as in "casual". The had all the casual games, but they also had previews about Wario Land Shake and Mega Man 9. Plus the mentioned that the best game on the Wii was Galaxy and they gave tips of how to beat the game.
So if "casuals" are buying this mag, maybe they start buying Mega Man 9 and Galaxy too. Awesome!
Where's the love for Wario Land, Iga?
I mentioned that game too! They even explained who Wario was in that mag!
So, Oldboy and Sympathy for Lady vengeance has just wrapped up shooting for his next movie Thirst, about a preist turned vampire/slayer. Should be out early next year.
Here is a trailer for what could be the action movie of the year apparently, though it looks pretty average to me.

And below is the trailer for the new Donnie Yen/Wilson Yip actioner IP man, based on the story of Bruce Lee's mentor and martial arts grandmaster. Its action scenes are directed by Sammo Hung and Simon Yam stars too. Looks a bit like Fearless.

EDIT:
I er........ added a non-video game story link up top in gold. Hope no one minds.
Crap, Studio Ghibli did this 25 years anniversary concert with Joe Hisaishi but it aired on TV but no dvd
The Porco Rosso track is particularly jazzy

Damn I need this on DVD
EDIT:
On IGN's Wii Music review it says "That Guitar Hero World Tour's complementary modes -- namely Mii Freestyle and advanced studio -- completely obliterate the entire Wii Music package is proof just how much Nintendo's game either doesn't do or doesn't do well. "
I've never been interested in Guitar Hero, but I am interested if it has freestyle modes akin to wii music and will have to read the previews and reviews in depth to see if it would interest me.
So, does that mean that I can post Fedor videos?
Only if Fedor makes a game

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileRumour has it that Fedor was going to replace Zangief in SF4, but Fedor was so unbalanced he literally broke the game.
He doesn't like to talk about luke-warm games.
One of the site's forefathers.
