OMG THat happened to me too! My Hector was fucking LAME by he time I reached the final boss. I guess having Marcus kick EVERYONE's asses each battle wasn't exactly the right choice.
A new one, this one is somewhat an inside joke.
I had everyone pretty evenly powered, so when it came to the end everyone was equally useless.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileYoda! I'm starting Baten Kaitos as well. You have any advice?
1. Inspect everything. You can walk up to stuff in houses and inspect it and find cards.
2. Make one person the healer once you have three characters, however counter-intuitive it is to remove good weapons from a person. Just give them as many healing items as possible (careful though, fruit rots over time).
3. Kill the blue guy first. Oh, you'll see .
Oh, and if your hand is full of unusable cards, you can select a card you can't use instead of just running out the clock and that will discard it.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileI have been playing a ton of Little Big Planet. Oh thats right I rented Wario Land, I need to play that (first impressions were not so good, but I have to play a lot more to have a decent opinion). Podcast sounds fun.
Pretty much happens to everyone. Hector and even Lynn were weak ass.
Just picked up BWii on an impulse cheapo buy, thanks to Edgecrusher.
This better be good.
played a bit of the first BW on my cube and i sort of liked it but never got far with it. have been too stingy about getting bwii but would also probably impulse buy it if i found it on the cheap.

Morning from Melbourne all. Here's to a good news week.
I've decided that despite everyone raving about the Beta, I will not be downloading it. It's too much of a hassle to look for a key and create a US/UK account (though I've been waiting for an excuse to get all the US demos), and it also doesn't help that I have a shitload of work that needs to get done. That, and the beta ends in less than a week. Though I'll eventually pick up the full game.
I'm all aboard for the podcast idea. I might not necessarily be involved with it, but I can help get it off the ground if need be.
Finally, Nintendo can go fuck off with the DSi. The thing that finally pushed me over the edge? They're region-locking the software. FUCK YOU NINTENDO.
Why would you buy a DSi? You have a DSlite already right? There is no point in buying it, the DSi is for a new market! Plus no GBA port means that you will not have FURY, finkrat!
P.S. Sydney > Melbourne
THAT IS FUCKING BLASPHEMY IGA. DON'T BELEIVE A GODDAMNED WORD ANYONE FROM SYDNEY TELLS YOU ABOUT MELBOURNE.
To e honest, I was interested because of some of the possibilities on offer. But hey, I'll be getting a new Mario & Luigi game, so that's good enough. And a new WarioWare!
Sidney told me that I should not listen to the demons of Melbourne!
What possibilities, Nintendo is not stupid enough to split the market. Are they? I am hoping for a SD card convertor in the GBA slot, so you can save the DSWare games. DS has already hit 80 million and probably will be around 90-100 million when the DSi hit, so I do not think Nintendo will skip this huge market!
Yes, Mario & Luigi 3. Mario and Luigi working together with Bowser. Fawful better be in it.
I think I'm playing the Uncensored Enhanced Edition.
I don't know what is more amazin.g The games graphics or how GAF is literally retarded when talking about Odin Sphere.
One of the site's forefathers.

Both.
"Odin Sphere had horrible gameplay because the combat sucked!"
"Odin Sphere was VERY repetitive!"
"Odin Sphere is VERY Shallow!"
"Odin Sphere was horrible here's hoping that this game plays more like Megaman X!"
"I hated the part at the end were the game doesn't tell you what order to beat the bosses!"
Good fucking God these comments make me want to fucking kill somebody. No combat wasn't even remotely the focus of the game, developing strategy's was since the game was a TACTICAL ACTION RPG not your standard Tales of ... button mashing circle jerk fest. No the game isn't repetitive as every time you play a new character the game plays very differently (think of it like when you play single player campaign in a class type RTS like Starcraft). No the game isn't shallow it is actually the deepest action RPG around. No the game is nothing like Megaman. No the game specifically tells you (hell it interupts and bring up a screen) to read all the books that you have gathered and they will practically tell you in which order you fight in.
Sorry for freaking out but God this is pissing me off. I mean this is why game forumlas never change and new ones are extremely rarely introduced. The only time a formula catches on is when a HUGE game changes a formula, case in point Resident Evil 4 in which people bitched about because they said it was an action game. What the fuck? That game was just as actually possibly even more "survival-horror" then the previous ones were, I don't know how they were playing it to get that it was an "action-game" (though this is referring to a good degree of the gaming community). And didn't GAF shit on Contact and Super Paper Mario as well? Yet these games that bring upon new formulas get ignored yet Warioland Shake It a game from my understanding from watching videos and reading your guys comments that does NOTHING new to the platforming genre and in many ways goes backwards for the Warioland series gets praised to no end and is "where 2D should go"? Yeah that's a good idea just take the old games put less soul and concentration on the gameplay and put in top notch graphics, that's the way to go.
Now I know way there are over 3,600 users logged onto the site yet only 200 or so of them are actually posting.
(Sorry for sounding so harsh but seriously)
One of the site's forefathers.

I have not played Odin Sphere but I am with you, it sounds exactly how I would feel about it and we agree on RE4. Awesome post.
I have played more Wario Land and yeah its damn good game. It started slow but then the variety in levels kick in and the platforming starts to get really good. Almost every level throws in a new kink to the gameplay, like one stage introduces a ball you get to bounce around to hit switches, one stage has bars you swing on, one stage is underwater in a submarine and its more like a shooting game. So it keeps you on your toes. Every level has a bunch of hidden crap and side goals which are difficult so even though the game could be finished in what I estimate to be 6 hours, there is a ton of stuff to look for.
So good stuff, not sure I recommend a buy but a rental for sure.
Here I was thinking you were cool.
Why don't Americans understand that like new means something is "like new" not used with freaking scratches, which would be BAD used condition.
