Talk to the quest giver, he should yell you were you can find it. This does not apply for basic missions, for that I just accept them and eventually they will auto complete when I do other missions.

That's impressive, I'm 40 hours in and only level 27. Do you spend a lot of time just killing things?
Yes.
I wish they gave you the Mechs sooner. Kind of silly that you're part of this elite squad of Blades and yet nobody in your group can drive a fucking mech. You should have been mech enabled no more than 5 hours into the game. Even Xenogears on the PS1 gave you mechs early on.
Elma is elite, the others are rookies.
Archangel3371 said:I think it's actually pretty good that they give you the mechs so far in the game because of how much they change the game especially in the exploration aspect. The game is amazing to explore and right around the point where you've played so much on foot you get these mechs that really change things and now you can explore all new areas in the mechs. I feel this really paces the game well. Also the game explains pretty reasonably why not just anyone can get a mech.
Agreed!
I got my mech bt can't play anythin cause my wrist hurt. can u call it like epona?

You can name your Skell whatever you want.

20 basic missions, normal missions do not apply to this number

Finished chapter 6 and the plot thickens.....(spoilers obviously)
Got my ass saved by Ridley's ungly cousin. Now busy with finishing the quest for my Skell licence. Can't wait to get my Skell.
And I have driven it off a cliff!
Oh well, shit happens!
It is insanely fun though. It really changes your perspective on things. What was first a big obstacle, becomes a mere stepping stone. But be careful, some bigger enemies will notice you when you are using your Skell. The Skells are huge, but also fast and the can jump really high.
Finished chapter 7. The boss was easy once I actually bothered to equip a my Skell. Twin laser swords FTW.
Want to play this, but I want to play Xenoblade 1 beforehand, and I guess I should bother to go back and play Xenogears.

I seem to have the same brain clutch and feel like I should be playing related games in the order that they were made whenever possible. In this instance I will try to supress it and start with the most recent and best game available. Time is precious anyway.
Well time to do sidequests to raise our levels. Bought a second mech BTW. The mechs are soo cool.

I like seeing a series evolve, there is an enjoyment level to be had from there, plus its a cheap podcast topic if you put in the work.
Other franchises I'll go mix it up, and skip some entries and go straight to the sequel. I played Saints Row The Third first. God damn Saints Row 1 and 2 suck.

Yeah, on levelling with XB wii all team members had similar levels and even the unused party members levelled up with you. Not so here? I had Lao join my team for a mandatory affinity mission and he was severely underlevelled. Caused problems.
PS, I have an armor on Elma that is basically bodypoint with feathers. Hot dang!

Yes extremely annoying. I had the problem in my last story mission that the two guys that I levelled up where not allowed to participate. Fuck me.
The fact that your characters do not level up with you and the fact that you have to always recruit them, is a step back from Xenoblade. It is just annoying. Also you cannot change time whenever you want. You have to find resting points. Also a step back.
