Some new ones that I never heard of, which are really popular and great in Japan. They're mostly fighting games and SHMUPs, since I can't understand Japanese, obviously RPGs are out of the question!
This game called Melty Blood Actress Again. It's a fighting games based off of a visual novel or anime. The fighting is pretty good, like a mixture of Guilty Gear and Street Fighter. Plus, what sold me was the amazing 2D animation in this game, which some of the best I've seen in a 2D fighter.
I also picked up Fist of the North Star and Basara X, which are also 2D fighters created by the same devs who made BlazBlue and Guilty Gear. Basara X is I think Capcom's last great 2D fighting game so I didn't want to pass up on that.
I also picked up a few old classics from the SNK and Capcom series.
As you can see, I love 2D fighting games.
And the SHMUP I picked up is Thunder Force VI. I don't understand why this game was never brought over, but oh well. It's one of the best SHMUPs on the J-PS2. The other newer ones like DoDonPachi and Mashimime-Sama are way to expensive and only have like 5 levels, so I didn't feel they're worth it. Also, they're manic shooters which is more about bullet hell, which I'm not a fan of. Shooters like Gradius V, Ikaruga, R-Type Final, and Thunder Force VI are more my thing because they focus on design and patterns rather than millions of bullets on the screen.
That's about it. I also ordered a Japanese only PSP game. And no, it's not porn! 
It's a beat-em up game based off of a popular Manga/Anime. I'm also planning on ordering Macross Ultimate Frontier.
All in all, in equals out to how much spending cash I had for that Wii or PS3. Yeah, it sort of feels like a waste but I was stupid two years ago when I bought that J-PS2. I thought about selling it, but I'd get nothing for it, so I lose that way as well. So might as well get the most out of it. This way, I can for sure!

No seriously *sigh* it felt right. I was a dunce to buy that J-PS2 so I have to make the best of what I have.
It's my fault. Just thought buying these great games for it will help me mend my mistakes.

But I also didn't pick up a PS3, as much as I wanted one. I figured, my 360 is completely satisfying as a next-gen game machine, so it didn't feel right to get a console that practically does the same thing.
So what did I get?
About two or three years ago, I bought a Japanese PS2. I bought it so I could play some of those games that were never released overseas. But because of import games cost and lack of availability, I just don't have enough games and my J-PS2 is just in my room gathering dust or used as paperweight.
Yeah, it was a big waste, about $300 worth. I know, that's crazy right? At the time it was great though. And I still love it but I just needed more games. Which is why I decided to use the Wii money for more import games. The Japanese PS2 games are quite cheaper now compared to a couple years ago. Most of the ones I wanted are now in that Japanese "Best Collection" which is basically their version for "Greatest Hits." I figured, since I bought that J-PS2, might as well get the most out of it. And I felt this would be the last time I can have this chance to buy the import games I wanted before it's too late.
The Wii will always be there. But those import games won't....nor will my money! So I guess it was the most reasonable and sound thing to do. I'm still waiting for my orders, and I really did buy everything I always wanted. And soon, my J-PS2 won't be a big waste anymore but full of life! Can't wait to play it again!
So do you guys think I did the right thing? I feel I did. But what do you guys think?
