Same here.

Why? Is he shelling out for the TLOU2 guitar, that people are arguing that doesn't look like the in-game guitar at all?

I haven't heard about that. The guitar scenes are really nice though. There's actually a nice Easter egg at the bank.
I see that Vader has visited the bank because he has visited every location.
This game is insane!!!! The graphics are unbelievable for PS4, everything is so detailed. It's a slow burn but when the story picks up I was shaking, it's that impactful. There are beautiful moments mixed with intense moments of violence, so far so good.
But above all the coolest thing is how it's semi open, it's like the Uncharted 4 and LL levels with many areas to explore on your own, it's liberating and so fun to uncover secrets in this apocalyptic world. Gameplay is mostly the same with some tighter controls. So far so good, this one is special.
I just made it past the slow burn. Holy shit, the firefights. I've been on the edge of my seat trying to figure out the best way to conserve ammo and I absolutely suck at stealth. I want so badly to make through a fight without being seen and have yet to do that. I love the tension, nobody seems to have plot armor. Nobody feels safe. The combat, the strategy involved, is just on another level. I was a little shocked at how much damage I did to some of these people.
I spent two hours exploring Seattle and still did not make it to every building. I love how exploration is just as rewarding as the action. That guitar scene in the music shop was just amazing.
I don't want to see spoilers but I'm looking at the scores given by users on other sites and a lot of people are panning the game. I wonder if it is a scene that played out early in the game or something else? Anyway, I'm intrigued. I have a feeling people are whining over nothing.
Yeah I'm just amused that there are people with their fingers hovering over their keyboard, waiting on the moment to shit on something they've never played.
Whenever I see gamers raging because a game didn’t turn out how they wanted it too story wise this is what I think of.
That.............................................
That...............................................
...........spoiler.........
Spoiler......................
......That flashback ....wow! ................. 😭

Especially if they have actually half of those 48 hours playing said game (not to mention 48 miniutes writing and editing their review).
Ok, probably the most anticipated game of the year arrives tomorrow (Well, a close second behind Animal Crossing). This is the non-spoiler thread to discuss Ellie's quest for revenge. The reviewers love it, even with how bleak and ...timely it is. I expect nothing but brilliance.
