What about HD Nintendo games like Metroid Prime and the Galaxy series?
The only point to this would be 1080P/60FPS. Which no current gen console is capable of.

Wii games at 60 FPS could work. But isn't The Last of Us aiming for 60 FPS?
The only thing that needs to be remastered are Nintendo Wii games and below cause they were not HD. Everything else was fine.
Now I will go trade in my PS4 and X1 because they are no better than the PS3 or 360. Fucking cunt I wish somebody would have told me this sooner.

Forza 5 says hello.
The Yakuza's but not really. They would be a half-ass cash-in....
Hmmm....
Sonic and SEGA all-Star Racing. Just to fuck with my brain.
um...
Gears 1 actually and sincerely.
Uncharted 1 and 2 (3 was close enough, and fuck replaying that).
Geometry Wars, just to see what the hell they could improve visually.
Red Steel 2, so I can actualy play the game without it slashing my eyeballs to shreds.

That was downgraded visually though, probably to hit that resolution.

As does WipeOut HD. But that is indeed no current gen console, don't know if it'd count?

Yes good choice. But like most of these games, I'd really like it in a package compilation if possible.
I'll give two more....
- Bioshock Collection (with all DLC)
- Metroid Prime Trilogy U (With Gamepad controls, enhanced graphics and widescreen.)
With no new Metroid in sight, this would have been a good move on Nintendo's part.

So they could be accused of money-grabbing again? They released a trilogy pack on Wii already.

Well it's still 1080p/60fps which is really the whole point.

Yeah not sure but The Last of Us is beginning to sound like it's remake will hit 1080p/60fps and I'd count that.

And I'd buy it again on the U.

PS3 and 360 can do 1080p and 60 FPS if the game isn't demanding, but it's not as impressive if you have to cut effects to render at a certain resolution. If you're reffering to big AAA current gen games, hardly any games do that. You're lucky to get 1080p at 30FPS and that's usually dipping between 20-30 FPS.
Most PS3/360 games were sub-HD resolution and not many at 60 FPS. Wii U having loads of 720p 60FPS games is actually pretty good for what it is, but most of those games are designed with that aim from the start.
You know, the major titles from last gen that you'd like to either see them re-release on next gen systems as the high end PC versions, a la Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, or just console exclusives you'd like to see moved up and enhanced, such as The Last Of Us.
I'll start us off with Far Cry Collection.
I'd like to see this brought to PS4, X1 as the high end PC ports like Tomb Raider, but also add Far Cry Instincts to the package. The PC versions of these games are just like TR...as in, quite a bump up in visual quality.
