PS3 and 360 can do 1080p and 60 FPS if the game isn't demanding, but it's not as impressive if you have to cut effects to render at a certain resolution. If you're reffering to big AAA current gen games, hardly any games do that. You're lucky to get 1080p at 30FPS and that's usually dipping between 20-30 FPS.

Most PS3/360 games were sub-HD resolution and not many at 60 FPS. Wii U having loads of 720p 60FPS games is actually pretty good for what it is, but most of those games are designed with that aim from the start.

Well yeah no matter how powerful the hardware you can always increase various aspects of a game to where running it in 1080p at 60 fps is impossible but Foolz said that no current gen machine can run games at that and that statement simply isn't true. Not only are there currently games that do this already but a number of previous gen remakes will likely do this as well as it looks like The Last of Us might do. Simply saying that no current gen machine can run 1080p at 60fps is just to broad and inaccurate of a statement. Regardless of any downgrade to Forza 5 from reveal to launch the bottom line is that it still runs in 1080p at 60fps.

The only thing that needs to be remastered are Nintendo Wii games and below cause they were not HD. Everything else was fine.

And all those PS360 games that weren't native HD either...

Yes good choice. But like most of these games, I'd really like it in a package compilation if possible.

I'll give two more....

  • Bioshock Collection (with all DLC)
  • Metroid Prime Trilogy U (With Gamepad controls, enhanced graphics and widescreen.)

With no new Metroid in sight, this would have been a good move on Nintendo's part.

Wow, Metroid Prime Trilogy doesn't have widescreen?

Most games on the Wii that say they're wide screen have black bars on the sides....like they can't stretch far enough.

The only games I remember actually taking up my entire screen were Twilight Princess (not Skyward Sword though.....wtf?) , The Galaxy games, Metroid Other M, and I think Xenoblade.

Metroid Prime Trilogy, RE4 Wii Edition, Skyward Sword, and every other game I played on it have bars even though they're widescreen. Weak sauce.

Still doesn't change the fact that it's 1080p and 60fps. Just admit it, your previous statement was wrong. Nyaa

There's also Wolfenstein (though I'm not sure if that's 100% native). But you should have used that as an example anyway, because at least they didn't have to Watch Dogs it to make it run. Nyaa

There's also several others as well and unfortunately PS4 has more of them compared to Xbox One. Sad

I wish Skyrim was on PS4. I'm playing the PS3 version now, and it looks like ass. The near constant framerate issues are giving me a headache too. Argh!

Me too...I'd like to play it on PS4.

I'd love an enhanced Morrowind for next gen too.

Yeah I'd love to get a port of Skyrim as well. It'd certainly soften the wait for Elder Scrolls VI.

Yep, both need more, though.

Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise on Xbox One and PS4... and then release it for PC. It's not going to happen though. More realistically, Killzone 2 so that I can play its multiplayer for ever.
