If we do a podcast, I'd like to be on it and edit it. I;d post it as an episode of gameunder podcast since I have forgotten how to post one here.

I should have known that one of your beliefs regarding effort would have preferred a simple click on a button above an admiring reply of approval.
Back to the topic.
We've had, and have legends of gaming forum through here, and I wish there were here today.
Just to focus on the podcast.
The podcasting stories I could tell (and don't worry I have them mastered and backed up). I forget Jamie's avatar name -- Homer, was just great at humoring us into podcasting.
Yoda was a consistent crack-up with his vaudeville style. Steelio, was basically the most interesting man in the world and loved to tell a ten second story for 3 minutes. Vader's transparent enthusiasm should be bottled and sold, and the amount of times he faux screamed "Nooooooo!" on the podcast measured into the thousands. Foolz podcasting style, with the quick wit and literary bent he has in his lyricism, has now fully matured on the gameunder podcast, as has my straight-man hosting (look it up, that's not a sexual identifier in this case, though I am a straight man, possibly the straightest, and I don't need to over-exaggerate that fact because it is clearly obvious by how many women have sex with every day, I am in no way compensating for what is obviously not a lack of sexual prowess with the ladies). Robio and me are basically analogues, which is why I had to sabotage his podcasting career.
Iga was also a fond contributer for many years.
Just talking about the podcast here, so no one feel left out.
I am very proud that foolz and I have been able to carry the torch forward with gameunder podcast and keep the essense of the Press Room alive.
Technically speaking the Press Room Podcast it was a f&*&ing nightmare to edit and one of the worst jobs I've ever had in my life. I took it up because Yoda was clearly taking on too much and I faked my way into editing the show. I am now a natural (I can spot an "umm" in the editing suite visually and eliminate cross talk to make a better listening experience). But our production values for a very long time were very very poor.
Even so, I love that show, because in a gas station in Maryborough I was listening to my first Press Room Podcast and listened to Foolz pipe in fro mtime to time and told my then wife, "listen to this guy, he's good. He hardly gets a word in but when he does it's hilarious" which carries true to this day.
If the worst comes to he worst we can record the next episode of the Game Under Podcast, and simply call it The Press Room Podcast in the intro.
Having listened to the GU podcasts I have to admit though: Foolz sounds hilarious.
SupremeAC said:I have not listened to a single press room podcast. I don't want to for the same reason I don't like seeing film adaptions of books I read: y'all are going to sound way worse in real life than you do in my head.

That's because I directed the film adaptation myself.

Congrats on a job well done. But the real star here is whoever did the casting!

That was Aspro. He was also the talent scout who discovered me in a gas station in Maryborough, as described above.

It's true. I'm now relegated to being podcast eye candy, which doesn't really work out well for anyone.
I look forward to seeing your pic for the podcast image when I subscribe.
Who is the user everyone would like to make a return appearance. I would have said Bugs but fortunately, he did return. I don’t really know AskStory. Maybe Iga. Even Steel.
Wasn’t there a user here that advertised handbags? Wouldn’t mind seeing them again. Mine is a little ragged and I could use a new one.
Also to celebrate I am going to post this originally sourced image I looked for hours and hours for to reflect my personal expression of joy and satisfaction:
