And now that Iga is all pissed off and shitting bricks about this not-so-subtle derail, I bid thee farewell.

I'd want the next Zelda to have a central hub, where you could send letters and furniture to friends throughout Hyrule.

Shitting brick?! No that's GG not me remember?!

Considering the picture I'm guessing that as far as setting and all that jazz goes it won't be much different from TP.

How can you tell? We only have Link's design. For all we know it can take place in space.

I thought you said we were meant to be realistic. Nyaa

Dammit Steel you are a pathetic troll

Please study Grammaton and Carnage and learn from them. They have elevated trolling to an artform. I don't mind trolling, but yours trolling is not funny, not insulting, not witty. There is just nothing to it.

May Fedor have mercy on your soul

Steel can troll me anyday.

See, bitch? LOL

Well what a surprise Vader has shitty taste! I expect nothing less from our Resident Sonic whore.

 LOL

I think the biggest change you'll see with Zelda will be the controls.  It'll be a huge overhaul. No more Z-Targeting for battles.  Motion Plus will be used for the sword. Bow and arrow will play an increasingly big part of the game.  And for the big prediction. . .  Link's jumping will be mapped to the controls. No more automatic jumping.

As far as the game itself, I see it mostly how it's been.  Overworld to explore with dungeons to complete to progress with the story.  That formula still works and frankly the dungeons in Twilight Princess from the Desert Prison onward were probably the best the series has ever seen.  So there's no shortage of creativity in that regard.

Okay it's mine turn. I hope Zelda has cel shaded graphics, but I am not talking about Windwaker like melon heads. No, I am talking about, something like this...

Or something like this

I really hope the graphics will match the awesome artwork we see in the manuals. So much better than Windwaker or Twilight style.

What do you guys think?

I think hot linking other sites images is wrong (unless it's IGN; then it's okay). Shame on you, Iga!

What if you went back in time and saw Ganon before he was evil with his band of... lets say lovable rogues. And do a lord of the rings type thing like Sauron is the apprentice of a much more powerful larger, bigger badass, Morgoth?

And the legend goes that a hero appeared to defeat this first dark lord and it was actually Link who travelled back in time to do it?

Ah...Link falls through a wormhole.  He partners up with teenaged Ganon and they have several adventures together, teaming up in early dungeons(This is your MP online mode here).  We watch the scene that turns him evil, the antagonists kills his mother, shows him how the harness the power of the triforce, whatever. Think Anakin, but much cooler. Link never fights Ganondorf, but has to defeat this other antangonists and his minions, then slips back into this wormhole in the end.  We then see an older Ganon on his way to find the triforce for his own evil means. He slips to the darkside, so to speak.

Okay how is this? We fast forward to the future, Link is married to Zelda who is dying from some strange affliction. Link is haggard and older, say mid-40s.

The world has been overun with darkness and the remaining human population live in a barricaded town built into a lost canyon.

One day a fairy wanders into town and wants to see the king. She's navi, and she tells link of the plight of the world and how the reborn Deku tree says there is hope left for the land. Link rides out with a small troop of knights, sort of like the knights of the round table to see the tree/oracle.

The story is very bleak. For instance on the side of mountain a rockslide can decimate his troupe and he's washed into a river and loses his sword.

He wakes up alone next to a small hut where a haggard old man lives. The man leads him back up the mountain to a secret cave where he must face trials to regain the lost legendary sword, said to be placed there by the goddess of the mountain.

Etc etc.

Good stuff.

As for Hyrule, yeah I guess its nice to get away from it every few games but every time I am away from it I wish the game was back in Hyrule.

I say why not to Zelda Scifi. Just for one game to see what its like. I think it would be a cool experiment to try out.

I know Kizuna sucks, but the artstyle is something that Zelda can copy

They could use the Kizuna like graphics to render something that looks like this.
