1 - The worst reviewed game that I liked, which would probably be Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the NES. Classic, I say!
2 - The game you acknowledge is terrible, dislike, but keep playing. The winner here is High Heat Baseball 2002. I played a significant amount of that horrible game just because I had no other portable baseball game to go back to.
3 - The game you acknowledge is bad, but genuinely enjoy, despite your better judgment. This is the most complicated because the worse it gets the harder it is to enjoy. At the still-good but enjoyed too much level, Gun for GameCube (also on PS2/Xbox) I enjoyed a lot more than the 7.8 review I gave it. But I guess the winner has to be Intellivision Lives! I've played plenty of that game, and really, there's no reason to ever play that game.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileASK_Story said:And don't tell Robio this but *whisper* I actually like Castlevania Judgment!
You're a horrible person.

And clearly you're the devil.
As far as my own entries here, first there would be Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility. It was considered the worst of the console Harvest Moon games and scored around a 6 with most reviewers. But I still enjoyed it enough to clock 45 hours with it. Probably because I hadn't played an HM game in the prior 2 years, but there's just something about the core gameplay that I generally enjoy.
Outside of that series it would be Yoshi's Story for the N64. Loved that game. The idea of playing a game with virtually no challenge had a lot of appeal for me at the time. Hell it still does.
on the ds marvel nemesis i thought it was really fun
Bioshock.
Oh wait, I didn't enjoy Bioshock so that doesn't count.
Just messing around. I think it would have to be Die Hard Vendetta the GC game.
If they could make the frame rate solid and tweak the aiming, it was a pretty fun game.
I'll provide more detail in an upcoming review of this Xbox classic.
It's so very outdated, flawed, simplistic, with broken mechanics, but it's so fun to destroy entire armies by yourself.
Arc Rise Fantasia is a good game held back by the localisation imo. It's not a rip off when the creators are involved, and when the end result plays so differently considering it's not even an action RPG at all...

The arcade game was the mutts nuts.
OMG
Just watched the Die Hard Vendetta trailer

The hardest core action game you've ever played.
That ain't what I played. The one I did was on PC and third person.

The voice acting of John McClane's daughter.
Ravenprose said:Red Steel. Yeah, it has broken controls, lame storyline, horrible voice acting, and unfinished graphics, but I still enjoyed it. I played through the first level again today, and I can't believe I liked it! I must have been under some kind of new Wii owner spell or something in 2006, because Red Steel is laughably bad now.
That's what I thought when I tried it again. But then I booted up my favourite levels and remembered why I like it. You can turn around a corner, blow up a car with one shotgun blast which sends baddies flying everywhere. Then you whip out your katana and slice some fat bastard up. Broken controls or no, it can be very fun. I wish they would do a New Play control version.
For me, Arc Rise Fantasia comes to mind. It's a Tales rip-off that's bogged down by the worst voice acting and localization ever. Yet I'm really liking the game and enjoying it!
Another one is Bullet Witch. A HORRIBLE game! But why do I like it so much? LOL!
And finally, I picked up Dark Void recently because it was on sale at Gamestop for $10. It's bad. Very generic, uninspiring, and a glitchy mess. But it's not bad.
And don't tell Robio this but *whisper* I actually like Castlevania Judgment!
Anyway, what are some horrible games you liked?
