I'm shocked at the responses in this thread.Nyaa

One system has Demon's Souls and Uncharted 2.  The other system will never get games like that.

Why are you shocked? Most people have a combo of either one of the HD systems and a Wii because it gives them the most variety.

It's not a which console is the best thread, it's not PS3 vs Wii thread. It's a: I already own a 360 so what should I get as a partner console thread.

Someone doesn't know what the 'Nyaa' emoticon means.Nyaa

True for Nintendo games, but 3rd party games see similar drops. LKS can be bought for £11 for instance and games like Madworld and HOTD are at hobo prices.

Unfortunately for me, even third party games are still skyhigh over here. Madworld doesn't go out for less than 80 bucks, HOTD isn't even easily found on shelves, and games such as the first EO are still well over 70 dollars. So...no. Not all countries behave the same way regarding 3rd party games pricing.

Hack you Wii and import games. Just make sure they ship there and the shipping cost are reasonable. If not, then your are screwed.

I do and that's why I deliberately posted this Skylock style response. The joke's getting tired IMHO.

Dont you get NTSC versions of games? Can't you import? It can be cheaper and easier to do this in many cases with no modding required.

Importing is out of the question with such high fees. Might as well get two games here than an imported one.

Well if you need money, I heard some teacher are getting a raise. Better extort some money Dr. SteelHammer, it's what all the cool kids do now a days.

P.S. I heard that teacher were actually extorted in Mexico near the American border. Is it really that bad?

It's dangerous, and prevalent not only in the american border, but in all of the country, predominantly in hot cities like Tijuana, Juarez, Culiacán. Anyone can (and will) get extorted over here. Even people that doesn't make that much money will receive eventually some...unsavory visits. When you have police in the extortion and kidnapping business as well, there's nothing much more you can do but keep a low profile, and stay always alert and vigilant of your family/kids.

Getting a new car, going out to fancy places, things like that can attract the attention of people who can extort or kidnap you.

So that's why I ride a burro.

So now you know why importing is so expensive there. The school teachers are extorted from their money. And to make ends meet they in turn extort the postmen. The postmen in their turn increase the price of delivery and so ends the circle of life in Mexico.

Steel better keep a AK-47 hidden in the donkeys arse.

Not necessarily. It depends on where do you plan to go/stay when in Baja California. You going to visit Tijuana or what?

I'm not a violent person, but I've been considering the idea of buying a gun for home protection as of lately. It's legal over here to own handguns as long as they stay in your house and are not from a class/caliber that is exclusive for army use. And provided you file the proper permits.

My mother is a retired navy officer, but she has always been reluctant about having guns at home. She has a frightening aim, though. LOL

Edit: I mean, good great aim.
