The Wii is getting better games, but it still feels lacking to me because a lot of them really aren't must-have games, but just games I'd like to try, or games I'd get if they're cheaper.

Must-haves for me are:

Metroid Other M (You forgot that!)
Monster Hunter Tri
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Sin & Punishment 2

And later on...

The Next Zelda
Dragon Quest X

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now Playing: Golden Sun Dark Dawn, God of War Ghost of Sparta, and DKC Returns

it makes me (and iga Nyaa ) very happy that you consider sin & punishment 2 a must have.  despite the commerce involved i consider that game a gift to gamers from Treasure and i feel so lucky that it's getting released outside of japan.

i thought about other m but i guess i didn't list it because i was under the impression it won't be out for a while yet

It's coming out pretty soon here. Only three more months until we find out if it's awesome or sucks.

Big time! I can't wait for S&P2! Grinning

I love Treasure. They are the masters of the SHMUP. They made some of the best of all-time.

Is the only one on the list I have not got or pre-orded yet (of the ones I plan to get).  I've completely backed out of Fragile.  EO2 interests me a lot, not because of GG's boosterism, but because of Mekere.  If she is so dedicated to the game she is willing to come here it must be truly amazing.

What about Will? All the way from Hong Kong and only ever posted in that thread? Will? Sad

Except that NMH2 is not on the same level as GoW3 or Bayonetta. I love action games, NMH is not a great action game (the first, maybe part 2 is better). LKS is all taste. Red Steel 2 is a game I want but its just doesn't interest me as much as the games I get at launch. MH3 is weird, I didn't like the demo that much but I think it doesn't give a good idea of the full game. I just don't like I want to get into a big 100+ hour game right now.

You said Wii had good games whilst 360/PS3 had great games.

What I'm saying is that wii has great games too, based on games like NMH2, Red Steel 2, LKS etc getting lots of 9/10 reviews which is the internet tipping point for what's regarded as AAA, right?

So its great games all round, but you prefer some great games to others, hence taste and your disinterest in LKS for instance.

But NMH2 didn't get many 9 scores, it has an 84% which is still good but not at the level of GoW3 or Bayonetta, which is what I am saying in terms of action games. My issue was mostly about NMH2, I don't think that franchise is a top action game, its second tier at best.
