They killed off a couple of good character actors who I thought could have played a much larger role.
I saw Twillight, now I know what it's like to be inside the mind of a teenage girl.
It's actually not a bad movie but as a guy there was a voice in my mind screaming "Why won't it end? Please God let it end!"
There were some lines in there that had me face palming or LOLing inside like "You're heroin to me."
I saw Attack the Block today. its still in very limited release but they had one theater in Miami that was playing it, it was in Miami Beach so I drove my ass over there to see it and I am glad I did. Now i wouldn't saw its the best movie of the year or that its better than District 9 or Shawn of the Dead. Its a great genre flick with excellent energy, a cast that you will quickly grow to love and its a fun ride from start to finish. Its basically a monster movie, in this case the monsters are from space. Their design is awesome, really cool shit. The soundtrack was amazing as well, think hip hop mixed with 50s era cheesy sci-fi music. If you like sci-fi horror comedies, and come on who doesn't love that mix , check it out.

You notice how Sheldon's voice was deep then went higher in later seasons?
I like the Big Bang Theory a lot. Though the first couple seasons were much better. Over time they've just made Sheldon a freak, whereas at first he was just nerdy and odd.
Archangel3371 said:Hmm. I hadn't noticed that. I've just started watching it recently though but I try to catch the older re-runs whenever I can. I also need to get back to watching more sci-fi type shows like Fringe which I was watching briefly for awhile.
Yeah really the transition to his character was almost made by the end of season one. If you watch the pilot epsidoes that Sheldon and the one you see now are almost entirely different characters. He's much more arrogant and much more in his own world now. He was more like a real person back then. I kind of liked the old Sheldon better.

I finished Jack Holborn which was actually quite brilliant. Excellent adaption, though it made quite a few strange changes here and there. Worked well on the screen, though. Was hilarious seeing the way they got rid of a show only character before the final episode because he had no place in the resoulition of the main plotline. The ending was better than the book. It ranks as a classic thanks to one hilarious scene alone involving forced drinking and an oiled up child.
Further back I finished Elemental Gelade. Was very much a genre anime, but a solid one. Defiitely had some great moments too.
And bits of Please Sir!
Oh, and of course Almost Naked Animals. They're now repeating the episodes and I'm still watching them. The greatest Duck moment was on yesterday. They should show that on repeat instead! Sometimes Big Babies becasue it's on just before Naked Aniamls. What. The. Fuck.
Archangel3371 said:Sheldon's awesome, like how a mad scientist who plans to take over the world would be in his younger years.
He's like the Brain.
Archangel3371 said:I also used to watch According to Jim fairly often, hilarious show.
I like Cheryl a lot. In some shows she wears tops where her nipples stick out.
Finished watching season 1 of Nikita.
Series started off allright but got better. Then the final 3 or 4 episodes got pretty epic, to the point where it felt like it was going to be the final episode of the series as a whole and wrap everything up.
Good show overall, apart from a few missteps.
Also Supernatural got better with the whole demon war. Just watched the assault on precinct 13 episode.
Netflix got introduced in my country last week. Opened an account, and have been watching stuff in there in an erratic fashion. Stuff like Planes, trains and automobiles, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and Taken (Spielberg's alien abduction series). I also watched the Prince of Egypt again. Love that movie.
I'm on season 4 of Supernatural.
Hey! The replaced the actress of that woman.
Why? Series is getting interesting, glad that Bella got KOed.
I also like some of the rock music featured in the show but I have no idea what tracks they are by whom. Little help?
