Kirby will be quick and easy with no challenge whatsoever. If you're just looking to finish a game, that's the one you want to choose.

If it is quick enough I maybe able to finish that before my big trip on Sunday. But I still need to play DmC dlc. I will probably have time for both games.
Both are wonderful games and both are actually very lovable. One very easy, the other hard as you like.
My advice is whichever you play, don't play it with the frame of mind of playing it to get it out of the way. Kirby's Epic Yarn is a beautiful characterful game with an extremely unique and endearing visual style and you should take your time to enjoy it properly.
Tough choice. Toss a coin. You're going to want to play both anyway
Meatboy!
Then you can be a real man like me.
*flexes butt muscles*
What games do you have in mind for when you are on the road Vader? PSOne classics on the Vita are pretty cool.

Travo is right. Epic Yarn is a nice weekend game. No real challenge since you can't die (unless you go collect all the treasures to find), but it's a lot of fun and the visuals are pretty cool. An LBP fan will love it.

I have a TON of DS games to play as well as Vita ones. I may never finish them. A bunch are giant RPGS which are the complete opposite of the quick pick up and play I want from portable. Its all backwards.
This is exactly what I was doing until Tomb Raider.
(Well, at least I've still been playing Devil Summoner at the same time.)
This is going to be fun. I am going to make up some interesting categories as time goes on. There will be horror themed choices, older generation games, WTF games, dudebro games, and so on. There will be some RPG choices but not many, I am just warning you guys, I may play like 3 max a year. So please choose wisely. Again this will begin after Bioshock.
I checked backloggery, I am +9 this year in beat games to new games bought. I hope to get that much higher. Hopefully the first year where I beat more new than I buy.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileYodariquo said:I should get in on this. I have a decade's worth of games unplayed at this point.
Sweet. Hop on in. I will try to keep track of our progress and stuff.

Amatuer.
Well I rented GoW for this weekend so I wont be able to play those platformers I mention. You will see them up for voting later.

PLAY MEATBOY GODAMN IT.
Lets get the voting started. So lets go over the rules:
1. I will choice a category and give a few games to choose from. You guys vote until I am ready to play that game. You get one vote per category.
2. I have to give a good attempt to beat the game. I do have the right to quite after a few hours if I just don't want to play it anymore.
3. Games that lose a vote will show up later so don't think it's the only chance to play that game.
4. For games with multiple games in a series I have to play the games in order. So if you want me to play yakuza 4 I have to finish 2 and 3 first.
5. If you see a certain game show up multiple times in voting take the hint and let me play it.
6. Any new games stop the backlog playing.
7. This does not include portable games, I play those on my trips.
Well for this first one I am going to do two games cause I am almost done with Banjo Kazooie so I am going to wrap that up after bioshock.
PLATFORMERS:
Super Meat Boy
Kirby epic yarn
sly cooper 1
so what am I going to play?
I realize its spring but summer of whatever sounds better. Anyway the point of this thread is to use this spring/summer to attack your backlog. After Bioshock Infinite I don't plan to buy anything new so I will be playing many of my backlogged games. I will be asking for your participation in choosing which games I play. I will nominate a few games and you guys will vote, that way i still have a say in which games are chosen.
of course if you want to do the same please feel free.
i should have some time to squeeze in one console game before bioshock (ill be on the road a lot) and I am thinking a platformer of some kind. So maybe super meat boy or Kirby's epic yarn.
