this helloween crap is an exercise in frustration.  i got 3-4 items but it's just too irritating, i'm calling it a day.  i hate it.

jack-in-the-boxs are worth 1000 though so don't worry about exchanging crappy shells or apples for them

i denied jack 2 times and i didn't get a special item i didn't get shit.  i hate this game.

this sucks beyond all measure.  i'm all out of sweets and i got so many of each of just a handful of items and i didn't get a single one of many of the others.  i got 4 or 5 flipping lamps, 2 chairs, 2 carpets, 2 wardrobes ... no sofa, no wallpaper, no dresser, no radio ... nothing of whatever else there is.

damn this game.  i hate it.  i hate it more than raven ever hated it (how do you do the angry smiley?)

I've been buying candy since Jack first sent me the letter. I had 27 candy pieces and gave 1 to a resident. All the other bastards I denied. I got some patchwork clothes and some slobby looking ones, I got a few pumpkin masks and a shitload of jack in the boxes in case you guys wanted them.

I denied Jack several times and he just gave me a jack in the box.

Otherwise I got tons of items, Grinning I haven't checked them yet as I ditched them on the ground so the other guys wouldn't change them into jack in the boxes.

It was a lot of hard work but it yielded a load of stuff. I found it tiring but fun. Happy

It was Animal Crossing Metal Gear Solid night. Having to avoid and sneak around all the trick or treaters with limited resources and having to hunt down one guy. I must have diverged from my paths several times to do, ate a few tiles and left items all over the shop (as well as 10+ jack in the boxes in my living room) but yeah, great stuff Grinning

I think I need the wallpaper though. Anyone get that one?

I ordered two Tortimer posters from Nook's last night, and I just sent one to each of you guys.

Halloween hasn't started here yet.

I didn't get much due to not buying enough candy before hand. Stupid me. Oh well, here's what I did get:

Spooky
  • Wardrobe
  • Clock
  • Lamp
  • Jack-n-the-box (x8 LOL )

Hmm, I never did get the pumpkin head or the patched shirt tricks. I wonder if it's because I'm wearing this Witches costume from Gracies?

i got the pumpkin head.  never did get the patched shirt, maybe because i was wearing a design?  and my items always turned to jack-in-the-box when i was tricked, nothing else.

Halloween was awesome for me. Here are some pics before and after.
ruu0422.jpg

Chester was talking about you Bugs.
ruu0423.jpg

They delighted in tricking me. It was a like a deadly game of tag Grinning
ruu0424.jpg

This is when I first got my pumpkin head. How cool is that.
ruu0425.jpg

Like many of us, Limberg chose to stay indoors on Halloween. It's considered a kids holiday here.
ruu0426.jpg

I tried to refuse him but there were no special items, just more Jack in the Boxes.
ruu0427.jpg

LOL Someone is bitter that I refused to give her sweets.
ruu0429.jpg

Halway through the night this was the swag I managed to get home. It was difficult as I had to make it home with no one catching me, else they turn my spooky items into jack in the boxes.
ruu0430f.jpg

LOL Bastard!
ruu0431.jpg

Eat the apple chumpette, its all you're getting!
ruu0432.jpg

Because I can smell you. Dirtbag.
ruu0433.jpg

The next morning people were walking about in a daze as the cleanup operation began. Tiles were replaces, flowers were planted, items were picked up. I was the one guy still wearing his garb.
ruu0434.jpg

My collection. I need the wallpaper and wardrobe. Pinky you are my only hope!
ruu0435.jpg

After some legwork, this is the finished room.

Yeah I figured that out early, so I bought some cheapo clothes from sables and got a patched shirt and a sloppy shirt.

Must have been, if they had turned those to rags that would have been thousands of bells down the drain. I got a spare pumpkin head (I think)

November 1st to 30th // Mushroom hunting
Every day, 6 mushrooms will be randomly generated in your town. They will be
next to trees or buried undergound (in the case of Rare Mushrooms). One
mushroom out of the six is actually a piece of furniture from the Mushroom
Series. Mushroom prices and types are in ITEM.

Guys, I didn't post this pic for nothing.

ruu0434.jpg

All this stuff is up for grabs. Anything that I have a duplicate of that is.

I have two bookcases BTW one is hidden behind the chairs.

I have 4 chairs but note that I am keeping 2.

I only have one lamp, sofa and clock so those are off limits.

Here is what is up for gifts or trade:

2 tables

2 chairs

1 Bookcase

1 bed

1 vanity

1 dresser

1 carpet (but I was thinking about keeping it)

I need:

1 wardrobe

1 wallpaper

Raven I sent you the pumpkin head, Bugs your dogs are in the mail.

If you both want one item, you'll have to fight it out between yourselves. And I want to see if Pinky has a spare wallpaper so I will wait on Steel.

Bugs sent me one though it hasn't arrived yet. Don't worry about that.

Does she need any Nintendogs?

None spare but I can order them. There are 4 different ones, all about 2200 bells each.

Let me know which ones she needs. There is:

Dalmation

Daschund

Chiwhahaaaa how the hell do you spell this?

Labrador
