So I have a dilemma.
I have near 600'000 bells in the bank.
I need two more basements which are 370'000 (each)
Do I plug all my cash into that, meaning I wont have any money to make money on the stalk market? Thus resetting my cash back to hobo days and hard fruit picking work?
I also want to get a set of Gracie furniture. Since winter 08 I have got the odd item or two from one seaons sets which is useless. They cost hundreds of thousands and then you can't match them with anything else.
With this money I could get the summer Gracie collection wall and floor and 4 other items roundabout.
But then I'm broke again. 
only have sailor outfit and hat towards the village people. and i don't even think there was a sailor among them, or was there?

No man, basement is 368'000 roughly. Then its built and you must have made the last payment (which only gives you a godamn flag) so its not worth doing.
Once you've got the basement, there is no reason to pay off the rest of the debt to Nook.
