The original Doom is finished. What an amazing FPS .  Quarantine is doing wonders for my backlog.

Some people say they only ever made 2 Doom games...what they should be saying is that they only made 2 FPSs. (Or 1.)

I would love to see LKS on the Switch since I did not complete the original game.

It's on PC at least, though I've read mixed things about that version.

Titanfall 2 is finished.  It took me years to get back to this game and I'm glad I did.

Maybe I'll start that once I beat Senua and aLttP. I've had it for years now and haven't even started it yet. This pandemic is working wonders for my backlog.

Same here.  I think I'll return to Link's Awakening and Mario Maker 2 and finish those.

I beat Zelda: a Link to the Past on the Snes app on Switch.  Still a masterpiece of a game.  I think it's been 25 years since I played it through last and it hasn't lost any of its luster.  I got stuck a few times because I foolishly figured I'd acquire everything I needed to progress by simply going from dungeon to dungeon.  This resulted in me getting stuck on the boss in the 7th dark world temple, simply because I didn't acquire the required item in the overworld and playing nearly the whole game with a woefully underequiped mastersword since I hadn't stumbled upon the smith I knew I should have found.  I actually only searched for him after it transpired I couldn't even damage Ganon because my sword was too weak.

Still a masterpiece and for my part the best game ever made.

I've finished a game for the first time in three months. It's a miracle. Also, it's Resident Evil 4.

Hmm, you actually finish a game (Resident Evil 4), and the Leon Kennedy voice actor dies. I told you there would be consequences to you messing around with the timeline like this. Hrm

Probably some sick fuck trying to kill Slippy. Be careful what you wish for!

Finished Uncharted: Drake's Fortunate this evening, and it was.... all right. I had to keep telling myself that despite the remaster, this was an early PS3 game from 2007 because it definitely played like it. As just about everyone said, the controls were pretty awful. The story itself was fun, and I get why everyone was jazzed about an Uncharted movie, but god damn Naughty Dog really had no clue on how to introduce a villain. But hey lost colonies, Nazis, Incan gold, and cursed spaniards do make for a good time, and those three-way fights at the end between Drake, the curse spaniards, and the soldiers was pure matinee fun. I will definitely give its sequel a play next weekend.

I'm certain you'll like the sequel.  It is amazing, well to me anyway.

I'm sure it is. It was a good first effort on a new console, and there was potential written all over it. I'm sure Naughty Dog knew the right kind of tweaks they needed to make for this equal and all aspects.

Ok, one more thing.  Who was your favorite character?  I stan for Sully.

Honestly Sully was the only interesting character. Nathan more or less seems like the typical rougish hero, though portrayed more competent than that type usually gets. And, I don't even remember the girl's name. She was basically white bread.
