What is your T Shirt inventory status?

I have just slightly too many, but not a lot.

Most of mine are prints advertising carbonated beverages and locations I have visited. Sporting teams would be in the top three, but since I left USA over 12 years ago all my favorite teams (Angels, Dodgers, Padres) shirts have deterioateed to the point they had to be disposed of.

So tell us, what's your t-shirt inventory looking like and are you a hoader, a curator or a hater (polo pop-collar type).

This is the real Aspro all right, only he'd post a thread like this.  ðŸ˜…

I'm heavily opposed to wearing shirts with text on them. Either the text doesn't represent my opinion, is plain stupid or is an advert for some brand. I refuse to pay to be a walking billboard.  If you want me to advertise for you, give me a shirt for free dammit.

As such I have mostly plain black shirts that I wear for years on end. I have a couple of coloured shirts but they're with patterns and such.

I own six plain dark grey t-shirts that I wear outside my house and one Mickey Mouse and one Snoopy t-shirt that I only wear at home ( they were gifts).

Fun fact, I'm wearing a t-shirt I bought during my new age douchebag phase in the year 2000. Still fits!

This was my philosophy up until about 10 years ago, then I got these limited edition carbonated beverage t-shirts which were pretty stylish (and obtuse).  Moving to Australia also helped.

Whenever I am at the mall and waiting on someone I count the number of shirts that go by that have either:

a) a reference to LA or other California destination.

b) a number or a year on it.

If they still have malls or other populated centres in your country give this a try. It's ridiculous how many of them there are, particularly the whole numbers thing as in "76" or "83" etc...

Look in the other dumpster, you might find a T shirt.

When I go out into society I generally wear polo's or buttoned shirts. To be honest. Around the house I shlub around in T-shirts and athletic shirts (when not working on the farm).
