Yoda, can you do a lite version that is friendly for viewing on smartphones?

Perhaps done with more of a focus on being viewed in a vertically stretched rectangle. Also the updates scroller doesn't work on a smartphone.

We already do...sort of.  It's out of date and was made just for the news, but it's at m.thevgpress.com

That's cool. I'll use that. But I meant for comments too.

A JP, UK or US flag for new submissions, defaulting to US.

Useful for release date and discount news.

Pretty niche, but I think it could work. Would show flag next to favicon.

Neat thought, though a couple tweaks.  Default should be worldwide (UN flag? Empty?), as a preview for Zelda Wii, for exampl,e isn't really a regional thing.  And adding another icon to prefix a store would get a little cluttered, so maybe down with the URL and tags.

^Maybe we make it optional rather than required, so if the story is regional we can apply it.

That it will.  There's some of everything really.  New little design things, plenty of bug fixes, performance increases, and new features.  Though oddly enough, the feature that spurred everything may or may not be ready for next week.

I'm especially looking forward to the feature that will allow the flagging a comment with one of a series of set responses (even if it doesn't come in this round of updates and changes).

Hooray for updates!  More to come, but I wanted to get this applied, if at the very minimum several bug fixes.

Go easy on him, aspro.  We've found on the podcast many times that it takes a while for these things to sink in.

Of course as I type this my screen is covered with a gray filter that wont go away. Yeah this site is working great...

OK better now, still that post  was written when the site was going crazy and posts were disappearing. Aspro responded hours later.

Oh, forgot to mention.  Most of the site is now functional with JavaScript disabled, primary items being logging in and posting comments.  News postings and preview currently require it enabled, however.

This is along the suggestion line of submission.  Perhaps instead of our header description being "Aggregate gaming news" it could be "Mob-sourced gaming news"  It's so much more web 2.0. Happy

Yoda can you kindly put back the image link button in the message editor?

Also would it be possible to have a button with a drop down for smileys?

Thanks

The add image button is still there, so I don't follow.

ok, i see now.  it's just that the icons don't match with their functions.  at least for me using opera.  for example the add image button says "click to underline" and the add link button is the "add image" etc

The icon file changed, so your browser is using the cache of the old one.  Click this link:

Then refresh the image after it's loaded and you should get the new icon set.
