True. Again reviews will play a big part in this.

For what it's worth Sunday night I'll be able to provide a pretty good review for Punch Out. I've got my copy reserved and will be picking it up when Gamestop opens up at noon. I figure by 8 PM I'll be able to throw out a review that old fans of the game will be able to relate to pretty well.

You get to fight other Nintendo Characters...
Mario. Link. Samus. Wario. Luigi.
(This is why Mario isn't the Ref this time.)
You guys didn't know this yet?
Are you kidding? Please tell me you're kidding. I've had a rough day and I can't deal with being fucked with on the internet this afternoon.

You're very evil. As punishment you shall be foreced to endure a 24 hour solo chat with Carnage about the merits of the GTA series.
(That's what I'm doing, but I know that wasn't the question.)

I can bet you money IGN will be posting an exclusive review verrrrrrry soon!

Its Punch-Out, I highly doubt that.

DAMN IT! Now I want Punch-Out really badly. This sucks.
Well I can see your dilemma. You have Infamous that will be awesome and a genre you like. And there is Punch-Out that is something else (there is nothing that is quite like Puch-Out), but it's alot shorter.
Variety is the spice of life, so something like Punch-Out would be nice. There will be more games like Infamous (Prototype), but there is nothing like Punch-Out. If only there was a game that was very original and long. So you would have best of both worlds. Wait......................
There problem solved
Okay let's think of it logically. Punch-Out will never come down in price, Infamous will. So get Punch-Out first. You want the both, so this way you will save money. And forget about the demo, you will buy Uncharted 2 anyways. Like you need it.

Which means you must do the only sane thing: spend hundreds of dollars on petrol or public transport as you scour shops looking for the cheapest price, and buy whichever one you find cheaper!
Why lie to yourself, you know you're getting Infamous.
Did you read the NOM Punchout review BTW? It said there was a lot of longevity?
Either way you suck, as De Blob should have been in your collection months ago.

Wow that was awesome. Wonder where they got the pink jumpsuit...
This week the Infamous demo hit, it changed my entire outlook on the game. It went from what I felt was going to be a solid rental to what I expect will be a AAA title. I always planned to buy Punch-Out and rent Infamous, now I am not sure. In terms of value Infamous will destroy Punch-Out, the game itself will be 25 hours long, plus there is reason to play twice to see the good and bad side. And you get into the Uncharted 2 beta so there is another ton of gameplay hours that come from buying Infamous. Punch-Out may take 10 hours to see and do everything.
Still its Punch-Out, I love original so much, I have been waiting so long for a sequel. I would feel like a horrible fan if I dont buy it. Also I know that Punch-Out is the type of game I will want to play again a year down the line, Infamous will probably be a game I play and beat twice in a row and not touch again. Also Punch-Out will be the type of game that my family would probably like to play.
Then again I know that if you take away the name and nostalgia factor Infamous would be my easy choice since its a genre I like more than arcade "boxing". Maybe I can convince my sister to buy Punch-Out,
I am renting one buying the other with a Best Buy gift card, I need help deciding. Punch-Out is the type of game I wouldnt mind buying down the road even after I rent it, but Nintendo games never go down in price. If I dont buy Infamous now I dont get into the Uncharted 2 beta. Its a case of value vs nostalgia. Obviously reviews will play a big part in this, hopefully those make this choice easy.
