If I get it, it'll be for my son. They're enjoyable games, but too samey between installations. The thought of beating the living daylight out of you guys is tempting, but I'm well aware that the opportunities to do so will be few and far between because you all live on the wrong side of the world.

Watch them announce that Smash Ultimate is delayed at TGA. The streets would run red with blood.

Some highly plausable options:
- They'll announce an 'arcade mode' in SSBU that requires actual money to be played, made possible by the newly added microtransations
- a new perhiperal in the form of a microphone that ties in to spectator mode, where victory will depend on who gets the most whoops from spectators.
- the announcement that Metroid Prime 4 is, in fact, no other than SSBU's 'World of Light' single player campaign.

Played for a few hours today and having a great time with the game. Played a bunch of online matches and with the odd laggy one most of the games have been quite good. Played a bit of World of Light and finding it pretty fun. I really enjoying unlocking characters and stuff in this game and there’s a ton of that in this game. Very nice selection of modes as well.
Anybody else have online impressions? I’m hearing a lot of bad things.

I haven't read up on it, but seeing as how they botched Splatoon2's net code I wouldn't be surprised.

I’ve played about 30 or more online matches, had about 4 or 5 laggy ones but the rest were quite good.
We are days away from the ultimate smash game, I know it's the ultimate smash because it is called Smash Ultimate. Every fighter, every level, every piece of music, full adventure mode, online and all. It has it all, they can never top this one.
So pay the new online tax and get on so we can fight together. Share friend codes here.
