Steel your code, go to the nintendo wi fi menu on smash bros and play with friends and register all the codes.
I'll try what bugs said with regard to the WiFi USB connector, and if it works, I'll see if I can be present during the next set of matches. If it doesn't work... I can't say when exactly I'll finally be online with my Wii.

You causing the game to lag to 3FPS might have had something to do with it

Pfft, I had to spend half an hour putting a fence back up that had been blown down by a hurricane, and I was only 1 minute late for the match. Gimme a break.
Oh, and
NIGGA!

I picked a time that would accomodate the europeans as well as Americans, which ends up as late afternoon here and somewhere between morning and lunch US time.
Anyhow I only played a couple of Brawls. In between being sickly using just the wii remote to play was ASS. Trying to jump by pressing up on the D-pad is painful. I need a GC pad, which I had but no extension cord. And WTF is up with the camera? I don't remember it being like this in Melee? I was playing on a 50" screen and my character was a 2cm blip I could barely see!
Playing online the action should keep your character fairly large on screen. I noticed lag at the very start of matches, but it seemed to clear up after a few seconds.
Anyhow like I said before if more than 4 people wanted to play you needed a second person to host and no one did. I saw Yoda, Raven, Yarcoffin and Bugs playing and couldn't join in. I was locked out for 15 minutes. Then I saw Bobby online and opened a room, did he join me? Nope. Damnit if someone had volunteered to be a secondary host like I said at 17:20 we would have had more people playing.
Nice that a good number of people got off their asses to meet up though.
Yarcoffin, isn't your celebration offensive man?

Beaver do you not find the camera is far too zoomed out in multiplayer? I can't see shit.
There was only one match--in the New Pork City level--where the camera zoomed way too far out, and I could hardly see my character. It really didn't matter much due to the massive lag that occured in that level. It seems that lag was considerably less on the smaller levels. Other than that, I had no problems with the camera at all, and I'm playing on a 27" SDTV.
Yeah, we need to have two hosts when doing these matches. It sucks that you couldn't get on for 15 minutes, GG. I would've jumped out for a while had I known you were trying to get in.
Despite some lag problems here and there, it was a lot of fun.

Yeah, I could not do Samus back air because of the massive lag. Bugs I was not mooning you, I was trying to back kick you. I had lag in all the matches, so I switched over to Ike. I figured his long moves would help me.
But the lag still screwed up some of my recovery. I played with Bugs once with bad lag, then I did a random match with 3 stangers. This one had little to no lag. Then a few 4 player games, lag again was bad. And finally a 3 player match with Yoda and Yarco, that one had acceptable lag.
Finally I had a random match against an awesome Lucas. The lag was really bad, but even so that Lucas dodges almost all my attacks. It was incredible, he killing me only once, but he did own me bad. But me having big troubles with lag and he avoiding me so easily, I began to wonder. Does the lag affect both sides equally?
The lag was annoying, but tolerable in all matches except when bugs was playing. Don't know what it was, but as soon as he joined it slowed to a crawl.

Going along with Hamster, it depends on the stage. The two worst are New Pork City and Hyrule Temple, with the former being worse, IMO, if only because all the colors add to the zoom-out in preventing me from seeing everything well.
I've created a Golden Sun lighthouse stage that's just about as bad, zoom-wise.
i tried to join GG's room but i couldn't, i was getting same errors as when i tried with raven yesterday.
