Angry_Beaver said:.Going along with Hamster, it depends on the stage. The two worst are New Pork City and Hyrule Temple, with the former being worse, IMO, if only because all the colors add to the zoom-out in preventing me from seeing everything well.
I've created a Golden Sun lighthouse stage that's just about as bad, zoom-wise.
I just don't remember it being as bad as this in Melee. Perhaps because the stages are bigger in Brawl? I almost feel like I would prefer to play this game in two player to make it clearer which on screen character was me.

i tried to join GG's room but i couldn't, i was getting same errors as when i tried with raven yesterday.
You can join me anytime, I don't mind. Have you tried speedtest.net to check your connection speed?
Anyhow, how people feel about making it a regular fixture?
Smash Sundays at the same time each Sunday? That way we wouldn't have to constantly re-arrange times to play. Just have the first person on at 17:00 GMT create a room and whoever is fifth and locked out create a room at 17:20 GMT?

Could the number of browser tabs running affect these numbers? 'Cuz I have a lot open.

Depends if you are streaming or downloading anything I suppose. Those are decent numbers.
upload 208 kb/s
ping 205 ms
this is what my speedtest said. it's a lot slower than what i'm paying for.

Welcome to the club, lol. I get 1.5-2 MB speeds while paying a 4 MB connection. Fuck.

Only concurrent loading would affect your speed test. Unless those open tabs are loading something heavy in the background / have a crapload of AJAX updating, no, they're not going to have any effect.

For what speed are you paying?

Brawl each Sunday is fine by me, even if I get my arse kicked by the lag!

Have you ever considered getting mobile internet? You supposedly hook in a dongle to your laptop and get internet from anywhere in the country/world.

Info is in the first post under events. You can check the timezone table to see what time it starts in Miami.
Ok here is my own character
Arthur
Camelot

I added your new character, GG.
Travo I added your code to the table, but I wont re-host it until I have more codes. You have other games or system IDs etc? I have a row for you on the table. You can find all out codes on the first page.

I missed it also. And I haven't heard anyone mention. I don't think anyone showed up

I haven't dissappeared. I just haven't felt like posting much lately.
I think I'm done with ACCF. It was a great game starting out, but that whole animal tracks nonsense has taken most of the fun out of it for me. Whenever I play it, all I can think about is how I can't walk on certain areas or I'll destroy my grass again.
EDIT: Oh, and I missed Smash Sunday too.
I can't imagine it's the dongle, but I suppose it's possible. I played Mario Kart Wii a bunch of times with one of those dongles, and I never noticed any lag issues with it. Then again, Mario Kart Wii is known to handle lag much better than Brawl does.
Bugs, when we played the first couple rounds just the two of us, there was noticable lag, but it was still quite playable. The lag didn't get bad until we had four people playing. It could be that you don't have enough bandwidth or something to handle a four-player game of Brawl. Go to this site: Speedtest.net It'll tell you your download/upload bandwidth and ping ratings.
For instance, here's mine:
