Whoa, so there are alternative dialogue voices you can choose for the main character. So they got multiple voice actors and recorded all the dialogue for the same character with different voices.
Characters
Nagi (Takayuki Sugou)
-Former Captain of the White Whale and current Military Chief in the Autonomous Government of New Los Angeles.
Guin (Yuichi Nakamura)
-Worked in the same division as Elma and Irina on Earth. Was their subordinate.
Player Avatars
-Many options for customization (sex, face type, skin colour, hair style, eyes, make-up, voice, etc).
-Preset designs done by Kunihiko Tanaka
-Some famous voice actors providing their voice as options for the avatar, will be announced on the Xenoblade homepage later.
GamePad
-Will show character location, question locations
-Warping to previously visited areas
Online
-One of the intended meanings of 'X[Cross]' relates to distant players playing together.
-Not a standard online game, more 'loosely connected'
Music
-About 90 songs in the game. Sawano involved in all of them.
Battles
-Faster paced, more action-y than Xenobalde's were.
-Differentiates close and distant attacks.
-No healers.
-Healing done with new system called 'Soul Voice'.

New pics from the character customisation
Once you start a new game in Xenoblade Chronicles X, you’ll be prompted to make your own avatar. The immediate choices you have are gender, face types, body size (female character also get bust size) and more.
Going a little deeper into the system, you can customize skin with its color tone, freckles, cheeks for the face, scars, and moles. Hairstyle, hair color, eye form and colors can all be customized as well. As for makeup, there are options for eye shadow color, lip color, and face paint.
Voice selection includes the type of voices like a military-type or a “bro” type, or maybe a “tsundere” voice or princess voice. Each of these voices are marked with their respective Japanese voice actors as well. You can check out samples, here.

If anyone notices, I avoid most of these threads no matter the game. I just don't wanna get burned out before I've even played it. I don't mind a bit of info here and there but GG and Dvader write these encyclopedias with every detail known to man..and I don't wanna know all that! lol

Yeah same here. I'm VERY pumped for this game and I appreciate all the work but these threads tend to be too much for me.
And this is why it's pointless to do megathreads here.
On Gamespot there were hundreds of users so it was always worth it, you'd always get quite a few replies.
This will boom to life once people actually have the game.

At least it's not filled with tons of animated gifs; those destroy my bandwidth, and often crash my browser. Pics > gifs when there's a lot of them.
I should try and give Xenoblade a go once again.
Get it on New 3DS, the text will be even smaller this time.
